Hi Steve!
How long has this place been around? I used to be on the netphoria board many years ago but gave up on that place.

Since late 2002 i believe it was?- Simon (sunky) and Bree (Blue June Destroyer) do the fine job of maintaining it.

G'day... my name's CJ or Ceej. I'd say 'or Ceej for short' but that really wouldn't make much sense since Ceej is two letters longer than CJ and all... Only two sentences in and already I've stuffed up this introduction. Typical me. I think I'll just keep rambling on in the same paragraph. Who the hell needs to break up their speech when you can be incredibley annoying? Anyway, I'm a Tassie boy... my hobbies include possum stompin' some filf and drilling holes in my head. Well... not really. I'm just making up this crap to keep you interested. I got into the Smashing Pumpkins after hearing one of their songs on The Simpsons episode 'Homerpalooza' and it wasn't until a few months ago that I put together enough energy to get off my arse and find out what the name of that song was. Turned out it was Zero... so I downloaded it and a few other Pumpkins songs and it wasn't long until they were being constantly played on my WinAmp. More recently I decided to buy' Rotten Apples: Greatest Hits' and 'Zeitgeist' off the net and plan to get my hands on any other Pumpkins albums I can find. I like the Smashing Pumpkins because of their unique style. Also, when I listen to one of their songs it feels like its having sex with my ears. It's a good feeling Don't ask why I decided to start a new paragraph... it's my introduction, dammit! My favourite Smashing Pumpkins songs include: Siva Rhinoceros Zero Today Ava Adore Tonight, Tonight Disarm Cherub Rock Bullet With Butterfly Wings The End is the Beginning is the End 1979 The Everlasting Gaze Tarantula 7 Shades of Black Bleeding the Orchid United States For God and Country (Love the bass in this song) Aw hell... I like 'em all. Anyway, I hope this introduction wasn't too mind-numbingly obnoxious. If it is, I'm sure you hate me already. If not... you're more f@#%ed up than me... I can tell we're all gonna get along just fine.

You know a Pumpkin fan is young when they watch TRANSFORMERS and hear Doomsday Clock as their first song and become a SP fan that way!
But a hi-didilly-ho you all the new kids on the ozphoria block!

hi ya i don't know what took me so long to find this board, i've been memebers of pumpkins boards on livejournal and other sites and always complained about the lack of action, the other day i thought why not just google a pumpkins forum!
my name is jyoti (joy-tee) i'm 22 from brisbane, i bought a copy of mcis, on a whim when i was thirteen, but didn't really listen to it properly till i was 14. After that I was hooked and have listened to all their albums continously ever since. Lately I have been playing Gish and Zeitgeist over and over. Just finished my degree in film prodution.
