The room looks very dull and cold and uninviting... it's really weird, its like their white balance is off or something? I know that room, and it's usually quite 'warm' looking, golds and browns everywhere. I don't think draping the whole way round in black was the best idea... I get that the theme is blues and stuff but everyone looks sick, their skin tone is all wrong.

yeah i know what you mean about the room, we had our christmas party there last year, it was sooo nice. anddd howww annoying are the interviews with people.... such stupid irrelevant questions... gratz to cooney, was an exciting last 2 rounds of counting, would of loved to see richo take it too, but oh well, at least a geelong player didn't get it

I'm going to pop on the 1989 Grand Final later, probably a tad overrated, but a great game none the less, opening 15 mins and last quarter are just brilliant, the list of injuries from that game is like a day at the casualty ward.
Well, since i had a bit of luck monday nite, i've thrown a few bets for tomorrow on as well (Since I'm such a beer swilling punter and all)
First Goal - $10 on Cyril Rioli @ 13/1 First Goal - $10 on Steve Johnson @ 10/1 (cancels the other out but doubles my chances!) Norm Smith - $10 on Joel Corey @ 13/1
Going to be a great game i think. On one hand i'd like to see the Hawks get up for a mate here who's a huge Hawks man, but then again, my running buddy Foxman is going for two straight, and i'd really like some more drunken texts from him.
I think it's Geelong going back to back though, 27 points.

Whoa I had a weird dream, I think it was all the "cider" I drank before bed ... woke up to watch the GF and Geelong had changed their name to be "Thundercats" and they walked out to the theme song of Thundercats ... so weird. Anyway, have a good one Foxy ...

Maybe thats tomorrow nights dream. Im really looking forward to todays game, hopefully its s bit more exciting (for non fans of both teams) than last years blowout ... I think I ended up doing some gardening it sucked so much. My tip for the game ... the Cats by 33 ... i think it will be a close first half, but then the Cats will just pull away. Also footy tipping ends this week, the "prize" will be announced ... is it something cool? or is it something even COOLER like a signed photo of me? ... who knows. (Well I do ... )

Woo come back, but it looks like the footy tipping is a draw well done saintal At least like 10 of geelongs behinds were rushed though scott, seemed to be their tactic whenever they were pressured in the backline

I thought it was a great contest. Well done to the Hawks, Geelong have been amazing, but anything can happen as we all know
for instance - I just got home from Glenelg beating Sturt to win their way into the Grand Final - First one we've made since 1992 - You beauty

Well done to the Hawks (and to Cygnet in picking them!) Was a pretty decent grand final really Didnt see any of the bays Stevie, but either they were very good or Sturt very poor. Or most likely, both. Not sure who i'll be barracking for on Sunday

in these cases, do countback to the number of times someone got 8 out of 8? I think that might the way to go ... if the winners are happy with that? ... I tally it up over the weekend ... hopefully this breaks the deadlock. once again sorry guys for the delay, been busy with work and stuff for SP ... will get to it.

Alight so the results are in ... CONGRATS TO SAINTAL! Went through the entire season and tallied up the times each of you have a perfect round, here is the breakdown: Week 8 - saintal Week 18 - Cygnet_33 and saintal Finals Week 2 - saintal Finals Week 3- Cygnet_33 and saintal Grand Final - Cygnet_33 In football cliche 'it was the closest of margins' ... 1 round. So congrats! ... Al just PM me an address to mail the prize to you ... oh yes, what is the prize! Well we've had this since the start of the year, we didn't say what it was just incase we got another SP thing along the way in the year. Its this poster and its signed by the artist too ... limited to 500. Thanks again everybody for such a great season, we of course will do it all again ... and we'll get another prize together ... maybe even something for the runners up too. (Sorry Jimmy ... we've got nothing ... I can send a signed picture of me if you like? )

Was thinking of you yesterday steve, sucks. Not like centrals needed another one. 7 out of 9 is pretty crazy, I think i heard thats equaled the record of most in a row or something?

Thanks again Sunky for organising a very very cool prize (Laura thinks so too )and to steve for setting up the comp yet again. Bit stiff Cygnet! Bad luck on sunday Stevie. Must have been a tough second half-I'd imagine that you would have had to put up with crap from the doggies supporters for most of it I went to match up that way this year the week after Jack Cahill quit South, geez they gave it to us South supporters. That is footy I guess

Yeah they were loving it in the second half. Must admit i did get in a couple of verbal wars in the first half which isn't like me, but i wasn't putting up with the crap i was hearing.
Gotta repect their club and coach, but as supporters, a certain number (i stress, not all) ruin it for everyone.

Finally some trade week action:
Obviously Adam Thompson from Port to Richmond for pick 42 went down
But...
Sydney gets - Rhyce Shaw and round four draft pick (No. 61) Collingwood gets - Round three draft pick (No. 46)
Collingwood gets - Anthony Corrie Brisbane Gets - Round six draft pick (No. 93)
St Kilda gets - Farren Ray and round three draft pick (No. 4) Dogs get - Round two draft pick (No. 31)
Fox sports has said that Ryan O'Keefe wants to go to Carlton, but Carlton haven't spoken to Sydney (as of when this was reported) - They have 45 minutes to sort something out or O'Keefe goes to the Pre season draft - Where Essendon and Port have both said they would take him.
How Carlton can afford him? Go figure...
Given that Port will probably take Josh Carr with Pick 4, it looks like O'Keefe could be a Bomber.
