Triple J just played 1979 this morning which is a little weird for them.!!! Maybe they are dropping us a hint that the SP are coming to OZ for Splendour in the grass.  Tom & Alex are announcing the line up tomorrow morning.!!!  And Billy did say he had some great SP news this week.!! |

Purchased a copy of Classic Rock magazine to kill time at Melbourne airport - Only because it has a special on the best songwriters of all time and our man BC featured (As well at Ryan Adams, but that's for another discussion)

The last couple of weeks on Master Chef......... yes I watch M-C...... the dude with black hair and rings on his face has been wearing the SP ZERO shirt.!!!

Not sure if this has been spotted before but was on "The Voice Project" last night checking out Paul Dempsey's version of Nicole Atkins - The Way It Is ( SFK / Paul Dempsey are my Austrlian SP / Billy Corgan ) and I stumbled across a band called Voxhaul Broadcast doing The SP's With Every Light.!!! You guy's can check it out at voiceproject.org  |

Listening to the Howard Stern interview with BC and he says he's not going out with Jessica any more....... crazy..... hadn't heard that one.!!
Great interview really worth a listen.!!

Listened to that yesterday (you can download it at crestfallen.com) you could hear how upset he was after they played Violet Rays. It was already my favourite with Panopticon but now I guess it means even more since I know the sadness it was written with.... |

It was interesting to hear that he has forgiven his abusive step Mother after what happened when he was younger but James, D'arcy and Jimmy is a different story.!!

My mate had the August issue of Rolling Stone with BC on the front so took a pic of it and thought I'd just get a copy from the newsagent on Monday but when I posted it to guy's on twitter sounds like I might have to wait a little longer........ Or steal it off him next weekend HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM ;D
