I'd suspect it's not trev's recording based on the fact that if you do a spectrum analysis on the marquee show or on this show there's no frequency cutoff that there should be (if my memory serves me correctly) and he recorded 2 or 3 shows on 1 disc

The whole anonymous angle is very intriguing though *doh

Who knows. I guess that answers that theory.
The trading and recording community is quite large (even in Australia) so there would've had to have been a few people taping shows on TFE tour - most for personal use and posterity and I guess one of them decided they'd like to share it with other fans since interest in boots has been reignited and wishes to remain anonymous. I guess everybody wants to know who it is because of the recent shows being recorded by active members of the SP community over at Netphoria and Blamo.
Bloody good sound. The Camera Eye is especially good, I think.

Hmm...there is no lossy cutoff if that's what you're asking I only grabbed one track from the brissy show, but it does have a faint line through it at around 16kHz that i just noticed that none of the marquee tracks do, not sure what that is (maybe someone else can explain that) brissy marquee

Maybe an absorbtion rate at around that frequency. Part of the room characteristics?
