Oh and to the girls who always tap sunky on the back and ask 'I'm so much shorter than you! Can I go in front of you?!' the answer is no. The man is seeing his favourite band of all time - you snoozed when it came time to hustle in the line, therefore you lose! lmao, has that happened at other gigs?

we dont get into melbourne-land until about 4pm so we probably wont be able to get to the venue until about 4:30 - 5:00pm, so i have prepared a cardboard cutout of jessy and i (complete with ozphoria wristbands) to be taken back with the brunkies to sit inline and save out spot haha. Jessy and i are both average to tallish too bree - im 173cm i think and jessy probably about 170 - 171cm. So we can be amazonian together

lmao, has that happened at other gigs? Probably every single gig we've ever been to together. i feel like that aswell.. its all good and well to be small and ask to get infront, but if a tall guy is infront of you it means they got in line before you.. tough shit. EXACTLY. If I were very short, I'd be making damn sure I got to the venue early. (for the record, I'm around 170-171cm)

aaaahhhh....yeah....*cough*....its totally true. Your reaction made me wish i had actually done it. But then, imagine Bree and Simon having to take the cutouts on the plane with them? Would they need to buy seats? It just raises a whole new dilema

surely they could come in some sort of collapsed 'kit' form, and be assembled on site? you could fit the two into a medium sized road case.

and another thing... i didn't know where to post this but i was OUTRAGED this morning flicking through my herald sun to the Hit section where i find NOT A MENTION, not even in the 'touring' part, of our SP being in town. so me thinks "hmm i'll have a look at that confidential gossipy-type page" where i find THIS:
"Pumpkins Sue Alternative rockers the Smashing Pumpkins have sued Virgin Records blah blah blah shit shit blah."
oh by the way major Melbourne newspaper, they're in the country, how about some info on where n when they're playing for the casual fan. 'scuse the rant, just really got my goat over the lack of exposure.

Sorry, Glassy, but Billys' only chance to get in the papers here is by playing the "breaking the law" or "net sex tape" card. So, keeping the above in mind, I hope he gets no media coverage at all.

it was the same thing here, there was a write up about all the bands playing in adelaide this week - SP just got their name and the date, where there were articles on AIR, Duran Duran and Maroon 5 LOL

Damn media! I know; Let's all become journalists & bombard every paper with Pumpkins articles to make up for the lack of coverage they've had - Billy farts...front page news!

nay, that will not work, as the editors will reject them all. let's instead become newspaper EDITORS and then reject every article that is not SP related... get the real journos to write about them.

As of right now, I have the whole day off (after a 3am finish at work on the thursday!).
So I can see myself joining the Ozphoria line out front. Save me a spot, if I'm not there before you!

&, just now, i've arranged to drop my luggage off at my bros (who's closer to the city than I am), so I should be able to make the queue around 3-gish.

So what time are people actually planning to show up? I'll basically be waking up, showering, getting in some clothes and making my way in (since I'm working until 3am).

well if Sydney was anything to go by, there really is no need to show up before about 2pm. Some kid was there at 7am. I got there at around 1pm and the only other Ozphorian was Josh and NathanC. There was about 12 randoms when I got there and between the half-dozen lines, I was pretty much at the front of the line. But im sure we'll remember the chalk and cordon off our own line again

i think i'll probably plan to get there around 2pm, but knowing how much i love my sleep it might be closer to 3pm. this'll probably be my last chance to chat with you guys since i'll be with my friends at V.

Yeah, I wasn't planning on any earlier than 2pm at all - since I can see myself sleeping until midday, and then it'd take me a couple of hours to sort myself out and get in there.

so you'll be with your cool friends that day, nodoubtaus :Pj/k haha nah but they're my two best friends so since it's three of us it'll be a 'majority rules' day, and they both pretty much agree on everything so i can see myself missing out on some stuff. hopefully i can convince them that we have to see all the bands on the blue stage though.
