I'm so wearing it tomorrow ;D Over a long sleeve top though, it's bloody freezing here.

I didn't actually buy these, but when I was looking in Impact Records today after just missing my bus I wandered over to the Pumpkins section and I found "The Gish Sessions" and "Ultra Rare Trax Vol. 2", both for $48 each.
Are these legit?

Are these legit? do u mean legal official releases, well then no and for $48 you might as well trade for them instead, thats a bit of a rip

Well the ultra rare traxx one is a official bootleg, but i've never heard of the gish one before. that doesn't mean it's not a real boot, but it might not be. what's the tracklist of the gish one?

I don't actually know Trev, but next time I go to Impact I'll take a pen and paper and write it down and get back to you.

Smashing Pumpkins Interview Disc - It comes with this thick booklet. [Parka its the one you have] Jimmy has a cold and sounds horrible when he talks. Also we got a copy of Fulflej: Wack Ass Tuba Riff An official Scratchie Records release. James and D'Arcy appear on it. Its a pretty impressive record for a band nobody has most likely heard of. It was released in 1996 and its similair to Local H's sound i guess.

The reason I wear the hat is because I'm actually bald!
Blue blooklet? I got that years ago back when my hometown actually had a CD store. Aww the guy in there was so nice, he gave me a MCIS poster once. What a champ!

. James and D'Arcy appear on it. do they just play instrument or do they sing any songs?

D'Arcee [as written in the book] sings some back up vocals for 2-3 tracks. James does some back up vocals on one track and plays on about 4 songs.
They thank the Smashing Pumpkins in their thankyous.

Picked up something this morning that I have been chasing for ages - the Rolling Stone where the Pumpkins are on the cover (just prior to the release of MCIS) - I absolutely love that photo on the cover, and there are some great photos in the article as well. (btw - did they get any other RS covers during their career?) you can really see Billy starting to go bald in the picks Also picked up Disarm card sleeve with Soothe and Blew Away - not in particularly good condition, but for $1.50 I can hardly complain.

While my friend Beau was in Canberra recently he went nuts and splurged on me a bit. He got me The Simpsons DVD with 4 band orientated episodes on it (including Homerpalooza ;D). And he also bought me that "Rare Trax Vol. 2" that I mentioned was in Impact Records, not too long ago.

And he also bought me that "Rare Trax Vol. 2" that I mentioned was in Impact Records, not too long ago. Is that any good? i never bothered bying it coz it seemed like a bit of a dodgy mix with all the remixes and stuff, but i never have listened to it or looked closely at it. anything hard to get on there?

To tell you the truth I haven't really given it much of a listen... I've just bought a whole heap of other CDs since then and this one kinda got forgotten. But I'll give it a listen soon and get back to you. Here's the tracklist: 1. The End Is... - Starting with the rare Struck In The Middle With Fluke instrumental mix 2. Eye - Is it any wonder that we would feature this lost classic (har har ) 3. Perfect - Starting our trip through the perfect world with this scarce Nellee Hooper instrumental mix 4. Sad Peter Pan - Billy leads a bunch of non-vegetarians through this old chesnutt 5. The Beginning Is... - An obscure one, Hallucination's Nu-wave Batcave mix 6. Pulseezar - Another oddity pulled from the bands film soundtrack 7. Purfect - Another stateside exclusive, the Electro Breakbeat mix 8. Bugg Superstar - A Portastudio tale of one guitarist and his dog, AAAHH 9. Perfecto - Whats more desirable than the Perfecto mix, why, it's the unreleased Perfecto dub, of course 10. The End - Holy smoke! It's the Rabbit In The Moon's Melancholy & The Infinaite dub mix! 11. 2Purfect - Nothing more perfect than the Pumpkins in a dub style, here's the Electro Breakbeat dub mix crank it! 12. Why Am I So Tired - Probably because you are locked into a fifteen minute psychedelic stoner rock studio jam. A blast from the past ends our tale of rare trax

The latest issue of Twisted poster magazine has an Adore era poster of Billy, James and D'arcy! D'arcy is looking HOT which has absolutely nothing to do with the fact she's showing off some nipple. ;D
