Hahaha, that's dedication for you! You probably saw a midnight screening of the most recent movie too, hehehe! I'm tempted to yell out "NEEERRRRD", but so many people I know did the same thing!
Back to football, but still on the topic of Harrys, I bloody hope Kewell's injury isn't all that bad, I'd really like to see him play a major role for the reds, it'd be about time!

*flashback*
I just gotto say, last years World Cup was the most satisfying tournament i've ever watched. As soon as knew the draw, I prayed that I could witness the Socceroos verse Italy in a World Cup game & it bloody happened didn't it. Watching that game in Lygon street, although bitterly disappointing, was something i'll remember forever, along with Italys Semi against Germany & then the Final....such an emotional month for me which ended in a way I never thought i'd see in my lifetime - with the Azzurri holding the World Cup trophy in their hands.
The Socceroos made me as proud, if not more so, than any Australian team has ever done, with their gusty performance.
This forums performance has also been impressive - not one abusive comment toward the Italians following that match. Good stuff.

On another footballing note, darren bent is looking increasingly good for us. Jermain Defoe might have to take it elsewhere.
I know its only against the Orlando Pirates (of south africa) but this last goal is mint.

I'm gonna have to resurrect this thread after LIverpool's breathtaking victory on the weekend, hehehe. I know it was Derby, but still, 6-0! Was listening to the Spurs game whilst driving home on saturday, can't believe it ended a draw!

The A league can be fantastic at times, i just hope in 5 years time people are still excited about it as they are now. Australia needs a strong national competition.

Who do people support in the english leagues? (I havent read through the thread sorry)
I've been a long time QPR supporter. when i was growing up they were a fairly strong EPL side but in recent years have found themselves either in League 1 or near the bottom of the Championship. Were in huge financial strife recently until one of the F1 team owners bought them out.

I dunno why I'm a Liverpool fan. I guess when I started getting into soccer, around the time I was 11 or 12, I just loved the players they had, Ian Rush, Stan Collymore, Robbie Fowler. They were seriously the best team to watch.

i be. I got victory membership nice to see you come out of the woodwork champ. How are werder doing? (this isn't a jibe,i honestly don't know) Yeah, i've been hiding away.. i have a 'proper' job and now no free time Werder arent doing bad.. got about 13/14 injuries which is kidna terrible. But not going too bad, got through to the champions league which is top stuff. A pom at work is a spurs fan so i can sound informed on him when i read up what you've said Mitchell And yeah, a leagues longevity will be interesting. It has around 50,000 members enarly half of whihc are victory ones.. prettty crazy. But i reckon once people start to realise victory wont be as unbeatable as last season numbers will start to drop..

Man, Spurs have continued their sucky start to the season-I pity all you fnas out there, esp Foxy, it must be so hard! Werder unfortunately didn't do any better-with the injuries they have I guess you have to expect a few losses though.
I'd like to support Sydney FC, if only they didn't suck so much. And the thing is, there's no history with this league either...

Fair dinkum spurs are never away from the drama. 4-4 draw this morning. I got up at 6.30 to listen to it online, but saw the score was 3-1 with 30 minutes to go, so i went back to bed. We came back from 4-1 down in the last 20 minutes. Injury time equalizers, how crazy.
