With all the talk of the Pre-Gish demo's that Billy is planning on releasing, what songs would you like to see on there? Because no doubt they would be re-mastered when they are released, so what old demo's are people looking at hearing? Or what unreleased songs do you think we could expect. Im really excited about this release.

Does "C'mon" count? Awesome track, and I'd love to hear a properley mastered version.

Hmm...well lets see, here's some fave's of mine from the bands early days. I'll leave it at 5.
Sun Not Worth Asking Lie I Lie Jesus Loves His Babies Razor What else? Any songs we haven't heard would be amazing, and maybe something that connects more dots into the bands story - For instance, Billy could write down a couple of lines about each song and we could maybe find out what songs inspired or turned into others or changed the way the band approached things/felt/was a turning point etc...
Maybe Oui Henry?

yeah songs like Oui Henry that have been played live but only exist as shitty live versions. Studio Version of Venus In Furs.
My Eternity I'll never change

I'd love to see the old demo tapes that are available on RSPAA remastered. I love listening to these but I wish they were louder and clearer.

I don't if Not Worth Asking will be on there, since it has already been 'officially' released on the 7" vinyl that went with the limited release of PI. But who knows what they have planned.
For me I would love to hear some studio versions of She, Armed to the Teeth, 6234, Screaming and a better quality version of Holiday - I love the goth synth pop sound of this song.

haha, yeah those too. There are a few early demo's that are like that which are great/fantastic songs ... and have only been heard by hardcore fans, but releasing these types of songs would be a good move to get more "casual" older fans back in the band.
Its another situation for the band, please the hardcore fans or release something that has stronger songs and is easily accessible by more fans ... but are of songs hardcore fans have had for years already.
I don't envy the band in this situation.

Autumn Nocturn!
No, but seriously...here is some you havn't mentioned yet that would be great East Egg C'mon Translucent Jennifer Ever
Nothing and Everything There it Goes Under Your Spell Waiting for you Now Fat Man Blues
I would think that most songs if not all would come from the Real Time Sessions recordings, with possibly some from pumpkin seeds and early 89 demos recordings

Nothing and Everything. That song still gets me moving now. Imagine a more produced version of it.... I reckon it would sound pretty sweet.

Accoring to Billy, this could be the first release of a "rolling box set" Reported on Billboard.com: “We’re hoping to put out some early demos at the end of this year to start a rolling boxed set,” Corgan told Billboard.com. “There’s an audience out there that wants to hear the fourth show we ever did with the song we only did that one time. Maybe it’s only 500 people, but maybe you find a way.” Along with this news of a “rolling box set” the article by Jonathan Cohen reports the well known information that the Smashing Pumpkins will be releasing a DVD of their shows from The Fillmore in 2007, new Smashing Pumpkins single around September/October and also the release of some early demos. haha Yeah I guess they might look at releasing left over songs or demo's from each era, and then they would tour and do the "era" concerts off the release of those demo's. So its still like playing new songs live ... in a way.

Love the idea of the era themed tours - Imagine the mid 90's MCIS era!
The only thing that would be a bit of a downer is i highly doubt we would get an Adore project - Fair enough though.

i'd definitely love Snap! It'd be great to hear good quality, cleaned-up versions of the Moon and self-titled tapes, i love them dearly. Everything from the Reel Time sessions, basically!!!
Also, maybe a bit late from what billy's talking about, but i would LOVE a full version of the Untitled SD-era Instrumental track from the end of the FAEOMM tape! Just the little bit of that song that exists is fantastic, i think the whole of it would be breathtaking.
Anything done about the same time as Hope would be brilliant also, i really like the feel of that song.

So there is now the talk, from SP.com's latest update, that the results of the court case with James and D'arcy could effect if this much talked about the planned release can actually come out ... this would also mean any future releases too if you think about it.
This would suck if its the case.
