Hey pumpkin ppl Question: (i dont know if this has been done b4 i'm still new to the board) but anyway it sounded cool at the time. here we go. You've been approached by a big record company to contribute a song to a smashing pumpkins tribute album. What song would you choose and why? For me it would have to be "Quiet" coz it's so powerful and intense and it's a thrill to play. yeeee ha! Hell i might even drag nelly and justin timberlake along to rap over it. Then get p.diddy to remixxx it and make it a club anthem. Respect.

i'd do glynis. i'd stay faithful to the original in most aspects, but add a little of me in it. it a beautiful and sad song and it has the dreamiest feel to it.

Well, our bands always done a nice cover of Today (kinda like how they do it in the UC show) - piano instead of lead, acoustic instead of eletric, and different non-barre chords - so yeah I guess that's what I'd submit.
But yeah, Foxy - Ruby is such a quissential song - kinda like Soma, Porcelina, Starla, etc.. - these are all songs I envision the Pumpkins to be and sound like - a truly grand and beautiful sound.

ok - well lets pretend i could sing and play gee-tar ... i'd have to go with - Here is No Why ... i would play it acousticly - very similiair to how Billy play it on the Mellon Collie Demos. I would play it much slower and calmer than the version off Mellon Collie ...

i would either do XYU, Geek USA or Silverfuck
and make it sound so dirty and the jam part in the middle would go for the whole cd.
or or or Marquis In Spades, because thats my favourite pumkins song
or maybe even Lucky 13, or Satur9 or Tear
hey can i just do a whole album?
