People taking days off for no particular reason or because they 'feel tired' and letting the rest of the team down. This happened on Friday and I felt so wrecked by the time work finished - who knows what's wrong with the ad I had to send in record time.

Not really pissed me off, but made me sad. I dont know if its been mentioned here yet, but did you see that one of the people who died in the boat crash on sydney harbour the other day was a barman from the Clock Hotel in Surry Hills! For those of you who werent there, that was where we had our lunch and pre-V fest drinks in sydney

Was it "more bright colours and neon" Bec? heh, heh no this time he got out a giant permanent texta and wrote all over one of the pages i'd done, and said "i want the writing to be this big and this bold" People taking days off for no particular reason or because they 'feel tired' and letting the rest of the team down. haha i did that on friday, but there was no 'team' to let down. i'd been to four concerts in a week and was absolutely exhausted. i've been there nearly a year and haven't taken a single sick day, so i took one =)

This is really bizarre because I was humming 'Cry' to myself yesterday at work... probably about the same time you guys were posting here!
Anyway, back on topic... I have a few things annoying me this week. * Coffee slurpers * Really pungent food in confined spaces in the office (nobody wants to sit and inhale your ridiculously disgusting curry from last night or your onion laden salad) * Smelly cup-of-soup slurpers (both things combined - I loathe the smell of chicken soup) * Working 13 hour days (getting to work before 9am, working til almost 6pm, freelance design work from about 7pm til midnight)

The situation a family we are very close to faces pisses me off
My best friends Dad had a heart attack a whie ago (i may have mentioned it here) at 48....he survived, but hasn't been himself since....lost lots of weight and been very spaced out for lack of a bette phrase. My Dad sends me a messge on my phone today "Hey, mate Ring me back as soon as you can..."
What can it be now? Since the heart attack, My best friends patner has fallen pregnant, i've lost my grandfather...what happens now?
"Mum just rang me up bawling......Glenn has Leukemia"

Oh Steve, so sorry to hear this. Its really tough when everything seems to happen at once, we had a similar situation a few years back when Bree's Aunt and my Grandfather passed away, we had to say goodbye to our much loved family dog (Odie) and my Mum found a lump on her lung ... all in the space of 2 months. Wasn't an easy time, but we got through it and have to say really made my family closer and stronger than ever.
Best wishes to you and your family.

OK WAS IT ME OR DID EVERYONE HAVE A DOSE OF THE STUPID PILLS TODAY!
I almost got into an accident on the way home because some idiot forgot to give way to me on a round about, i spent six hours at work fixing up everyone elses fuck ups or taking on their workload, and everyone on the footpaths and in the mall would not keep left, they were all on the right god that shits me.

the dickhead school kid who almost stepped out in front of my car this morning, fuck. i was pulling up to an intersection in the right lane, traffic was banked up in the left lane and this kid was trying to cross between the cars and clearly wouldn't have been able to see if anyone was coming. i slammed on my brakes, i don't think i've ever heard a screech so loud, it was horrible.
