I spent ages last night trying to put together the puzzle on securebroadcastinformatics.com... I'm addicted, I can't wait to see what the next piece of the puzzle is!

oh, by the way, whoever was going from adelaide to melbourne, Jetstar just released $39 tix to avalon sale ends next week. There's only one plane per day and it gets in at 5pm so if you were planning to go that day it'd suck. Virgin will probably follow suit anyway, just thought i should let you know;)

Yeah, that's what I thought when I looked at it, sucks, would've been perfect if it were a morning flight, though I may fly from bris to melb. I have family in brissy that I can stay with for however long so that's probably my best option, just fly to melbourne on the day.

Well we booked flights back on the monday night. They leave at 9:45 pm, so we get a whole day in melb on monday.
We wanted to stay all day incase NIN dont do a meet & greet on the Sunday, we didn't want to miss out on a monday one...even though we arent going to the show.
Now i think i might buy some early morning flights for sunday from Virgin for $59each. $200 all up for flights for 2 ppl would be pretty awesome.

support for the tour is coming from serena maneesh
(http://www.serena-maneesh.com) "August 29, 2005, Honey Milk Records – Norwegian Serena Maneesh present their self-titled, full-length debut “Serena Maneesh” with eleven songs that slide down a razor’s edge of distortion and pop whimsy, raucous guitar work and underwater static, angelic voices and primal screams. The strange melodies are strikingly original, yet they strike to the heart of something familiar: a classic rock guitar lick, a wound, a kiss."

Yeah, it looks great. I cant believe he hide letters in the timer nah not really, its awesome. I liked the whole apartment building with the police coming to stop sedition or whatever and all the different scenes of people doing stuff that could be seen as immoral in this fascist society run by the church. Pretty cool. Everything thats come out thus far is pretty damn good really. Got my plane tix btw, Went with Virgin for $59 each way to save the hassle of getting to and from Avalon. Flight there goes at 7am I think. Probably sleep on the plane. Then Ill head back the next night. Ill be in brissy too, staying for 3 days i think, with rellies. Fun fun. Although my Mum mentioned that she thinks my Auntie is getting her Daughter baptised that weekend which is something ill probably be obliged to attend if its while I'm there. Irony of going to a baptism on a trip to see NIN:Priceless

Oh i hadn't heard about the letters in the timer yet. I read about the bible verse numbers on the door, and that trent it the computer geek in one of the scenes

Yeah, its pretty well planned. Not as much so as Machina, where you just go wtf, there are references back all the way thru the catalogue, but it would take a LOT of time. Luckily it doesnt seem to be making much of a dent on the awesomeness of the music either, which sometimes is the case when you concerntrate on a concept and try to fit the music around it.
Yay for Trent being off the junk!

Yep, like Machina... or Ziggy Stardust. I know the gear did make some quite amazing music. This productivity is pretty good too tho;) Yeah, I liked his hair back in The Fragile days too... the shaved head definitely ties in well with the feel of the new album though

I know what you mean CG-I think it (the short hair) fit in very well on "With Teeth" as well-His music seems far more streamlined now, if you know what I mean, hehehe?
I just can't believe he's releasing a new album so soon, he's less prolific than even Tool usually! I guess as you mentioned that's another upside to being off the blow! I'd like a bit of angst though, but I'm sure i'll get it!

Garageband is Mac only. However last time Trent also released Windows friendly versions for another program, Soundforge maybe. I can't remember what it was but yeah he doesn't forget Windows users. I think this is Trents way of havings remixes out there. because With Teeth was really the first album in ages that didn't have a remix album released after it. Also with the story of Year Zero - getting fans involved to make remix albums would be cool. I still listen to my 9min remix of Only ... It was heaps of fun.
