Well while having dinner tonight with a friend of ours, we have started looking into maybe flying over for the new Sydney show. I know - Melbourne would be better ... but it will be easier for us to get the Friday off work - rather than a Tuesday or something. So still an 'idea' at the moment ... but we are really serious about it. Btw - Our friend is going to ever show ... i hate him so much.

I'm thinking of going to the third show too Simon...
I bought tickets for the first show, but it's pretty inconvenient, being on a Wednesday night and all... so I think if I can get tix to the third show then I'll go to that and try selling the first show tix on echoingthesound or something.

Well, first show down kids, it was rather good i must say. Id forgotten how much of a freak Josh Freese is. Mosh was pretty friendly, just everyone getting into it while still trying to be mindful of others.... well, where i was anyway;)

my friend at work went to the brisbane one last night. i only like one nine inch nails song "in this together" so i didn't question him too much, but he said it was an amazing show and he had the best time ever. if you have any more specific questions i can ask him tommorow at work at let you know then.

i felt like i was going to die in that mosh in 05... I lost my shoe in there too so i was shoving people trying to find it, looking back it was funny.
Great concerts though

05 was my second time seeing them, 00 beign the first. It was awesome in 05 though, i started off in the mosh, then moved just behind it and had my own little mosh pit going, head banging to all the wrong songs, i was in my own little world, fucking great gig though...

After seeing that Steven my friend I cannot wait either, hehehe! Finishing with Head Like a Hole, is there a better closing track, I think not. Hopefully I'll see some of you guys there, I'm gonna make sure I wear something completely inappropriate! hehehe. It's all about the music anyway, lol!
In '05 I had my own little mosh pit too, only problem was that it was because we ended up missing the first 15 minutes of the show, well that's not gonna f**king happen this time!

I'm going to the third Sydney show - and it'll be my third time seeing NIN. I would adore to hear Somewhat Damaged, The Great Below, Beside You In Time or Right Where It Belongs... *fingers crossed*

That sucks you got shit for wearing a radiohead shirt foxy, I saw heaps of ppl wearing radiohead attire, was thoroughly impressed. Also, on a similar note, i though a riot may have broken out when they started playing He War by Catpower over the PA. Could just see crazy metallers losing their minds.
Oh, and with that setlist, I will debate with you that they in fact played 'Another Version of the Truth' as an intro to La Mer. I got shot down on ETS for saying that, but if it wasnt it was something that sounded imcredibly similar...

top song He War. And speaking of radiohead, first time i saw that add with the guy in the wheel cheer who is mentally challenged or whatever the correct word is, i thought it was an add bagging radiohead fans

and for those who went, and are going tonight, whats the merch like? I'm thinking i want a jumper this tour.. went without for the 05 tour..
and the new pic on the NIN current page makes the lightshow look VERY minimal... just like seeing a band at a 100 person venue

Yeah, the lighting was very minimal I wasnt that impressed with the jumper, but its ok i guess, just a little plain, nine inch nails written in lines... it was $75 which isnt too bad as far as such things go.
I got a resistance shirt with the flag on the back and art is resistance written on the front, and a 'halo' shirt which has a pic on the back that looks like one of the shots from byit booklet. cool glow in the dark sticker too. Im contemplating getting the picture book thing in melbourne... does anyone have this/ know what its like?

i read that at ets, didnt know that was you. I am signed up there, but usually just lurk and read.
I read somewhere (spiral or ets) that Aaron and/or Jeordie and/or Josh said that they havent learned any more YZ songs than what they have played already, but they might try and learn some for the last sydney show...and i am guessing they will go down well with the crowd, which would be great because the next gig after that is the 1st Melb show! WooT!

Ahhh!! That's great news, if it happens.
Yeah, i generally just lurk on ets as well, but i feel compelled to post every now and then, mostly i find everything gets covered before i go there tho. I swear the intro to la mer was avott tho

Zero thing. Merch was pretty cool. I got a Halo shirt, and a one of the Tour Dates shirts (the black and yellow one), the hoddie was good, but kinda pricey at $75. (Thanks for holding them in your bag again for me Jimmy

Set from last nite:
Hyperpower! The Beginning of the End Survivalism March of the Pigs Heresy Closer Burn Gave Up Help Me I Am In Hell Me, I'm Not La Mer The Good Soldier Wish No, You Don't Mr Self Destruct Only Suck Dead Souls Hurt The Hand That Feeds Head Like A Hole
Wish is something that stood out, great version.
The ending was great - Have always liked The Hand That Feeds. Head like a hole, nothing needs to be said. Hurt was good except for little girls not shutting the fuck up and hugging/kissing each other and taking photos during it - i think they were trying to get attention...really gave me the shits.
