Gotye at the Athanaeum in Aug. Anyone read up on the Ben Folds Experience? Folds on tour on a boat with Amanada Palmer from DD and Eef from Clem Snide + others + fans. It's an amazing idea.

Hook me up with a hawaiian shirt and deck shoes, i'll be there. This is the first i've heard of the Ben Folds Experience, it's so unusual, but it would probably be something I'd like to go to if it were here.

Got a ticket to see Regina Spektor in Sydney, hooray! I'm a little bit nervous about the whole business of going about getting tickets to Tori though...

Yay for Regina! I am glad that someone is going. We are so dissapointed that she isnt coming to adelaide and with so many people trouring atm we just cant afford to travel to see her. Still no Tori mail from venuetix or the opera house, and i have to work on friday. ugh, what is going on!!

I called the Canberra venue this morning and the guy was pretty sure that the Canberra show wouldn't be as hectic as some of the other cities. He said "it's okay, we're not like Ticketek... usually even with major shows they don't sell out on the first day." I'm not sure whether I should believe him... but in general Canberra people are pretty lazy with getting tickets. People like to just rock up on the night... shmeh, I'm gonna be organised though. There's no way I'm going to miss out!

Well i had to sell my Shins ticket as it was for the second show (Same nite as the Cure) But it looks like i'll be getting one for the Thursday
So my august looks like - Kaiser Chiefs/The Shins/The Cure/Ryan Adams
Not bad for someone used to the Adelaide music scene! I'll be reviving the gig review thread me thinks.

Oh dude, we are so excited about Daft Punk ... just the ticket price is stopping us going, $127 (ouch!), usually we would go, but we are being all adult and saving for a house. We are going to see if there are tickets available closer to the date and if there are and we have money we will go ... not only Daft Punk, but The Presets and Cut Copy!!! Such a great group.

I saw CW Stoneking before the beautiful girls the other week. He was great.
Isn't justice doing a side show in perth? He is coming to Canberra, looking forward to that.
