I'll be happy to run a comp next year Sunks
I'm doing it, i'm sitting second with two losses for the year, my theory of always having a LOT of spare cash lying around until all the players form is settled seems to have paid off!
And nice work Todd!

WARNING INCOHERENT RANT!!! God that was a frustrating game to watch. Cats weren't really on in the second half (hawks were good then too) but in their defence they were down a few key players. I fucking hate Buddy Franklin, he's a goose. He missed 4 simple set shots yet the commentry team want to sex him up because he does a banana from a set shot on a 45 degree angle (what a tool). The commentry team were all about how hawthorn lost the game with their shit kicking, but Geelong wasted just as many chances. It seems like it just isn't enough for the cats to win anymore, they must hump everyone. Eg: www.foxsports.com.au/story/0,8659,24079277-23211,00.html Yes Hawthorn were in a position to win and they did for a long period of time restrict Geelongs style of play, but if you put Ablett, Ling, Milburn and Chapman (second half) back into that side would the same thing happen? Also i didnt really rate him last year, but i think Nathan Ablett is being missed. Imagine if the cats had a consistent forward line? Finally, SO MANY SOFT FREE KICKS. Ottens was pinged 4 times in the third quater for the shittiest, softest decisions I've seen. 50 metre penalty to Rioli for dropping the ball? A miriad of other questionable calls going either way (mostly the hawks in my one eyed view, though the cats did get some lucky ones too).

Terrible umpiring
foxman i stumbled across your facebook status with about 4 mins to go and though i'd just stumbled across the result! It got to about 30 seconds left to play when i got really confused...
Bottom line is the Hawks are on a 2 game losing streak.

How about those Pies? Feels good that there is a scandal about off field behaviour and the words "West Coast" are nowhere to be found!

Crazy stuff, ok, young people make mistakes and it was a stupid one - but the whole lying thing - terrible. Collingwood are outraged by the looks and fair enough. How about Malthouse, Eddie and Burns on the Monday, they were visually furious, and that's even before the truth came out.
There's no way Collingwood will keep Didak now, with a year to go on his deal, he is going to be shopped around like crazy i think. Port will go all guns blazing to get him, and it's possible that he will be used as a part of any deal to lure Johnathon Brown to Collingwood.
Crazy stuff, was looking forward to seeing how Shaw performed this weekend, but that's obviously gone. Well done to the Pies for taking this action though - I think there has been some admission of perhaps being a bit soft in the past and to suspend two star players for the rest of the year and Rhyce Shaw get 2 weeks also is a big call for a team who may have just closed the door on finals for themselves this year.
With the Darren Millane incident in 1991 and Shaws own sister almost being killed in a car accident, you would think these clowns would know better.

Coldest experience of my life playing football yesterday, the oval was a mudpit, i think it hailed slightly in the first quarter, my shoulders and knees ached just becuase of the cold. I've never, ever been that cold before. In the first quarter my boot laces came undone and i couldn't tie them up, I couldn't stop shaking, i went to the bench in the last quarter and it took me 5 or 6 minutes to try and get a jacket on - which i couldn't.
Anyways...
Well done to Shane Crawford and Andrew McLeod on 300 games! And Joel Bowden on 250. Good to see footage of Crawf kicking a late goal in their win. Hoping the Crows can get up today. If the Roos lose to the Dogs and we win, we go to 5th, it could have been 4th if the Dockers got up last night (bloody Pav!), but North seem to be in control early today...
Adam Goodes getting some form back with 8 goals, and Foxy - your boys just cruising...

got up by 5 whole points in my dream team final - I had no Wce or Essendon players (Selwood on bench), whicle my opponent had Cox, watched my lead whittle down, down, down but the siren went at the perfect time!
Josh, why don't you come in here and tell us of your teams fortunes?

"I get no respect!"
Sunks - I'm here to ask the big questions
-With a West Coast win costing you a priority pick, what would be your reaction to a "Lose at all costs" attitude by your team this weekend?
I wouldn't pick Woosha as that kind of person, but it has to be looked at. I think Melbourne may get the nod in this one though...god knows they need a win with all the off field issues...

I would lose a lot of respect for the boys if they lost for a pick, they have actually started playing well in the past few weeks and I think that a few wins under the young guys belts would do the club a world of good ... finishing on a "somewhat" high would give them confidence into next season I think. Without Hansen and Wirra this weekend our forward structure is going to be different ... should be a good game. Heading out now for food supplies before getting back for the bounce down! BRING IT ON!

I lost my Dream Team footy Out in the semi's! Not bad for my first season in. Over here in Perth there is so much talk about Kerr leaving WCE, whats the coverage like outside WA? Does anybody care?

Yeah i lost too - Damn Matty Stokes being a late out!!
Not too much in the Aelaide Media - Except that a few weeks ago they made a link of Kerr going to the Pies, Didak coming to Port and making cases for who Port would send to West Coast.
Just out of Interest, here are Ports WA born players:
Dom Cassissi Nathan Krakouer Michael Pettigrew Jacob Surjan Damon White
Slim picking considering Cassissi would be untouchable.
In other news, Shannon Grant retired eefective the end of season - Always enjoyed watching him go about it. Melbourne have told Adam Yze and jeff White their services aren't needed anymore, and the big new story - Adleaide don't have any fucking forwards! haha.
Still optimistic for a win this week with the Dogs going thru the motions, a home final would be nice. If we have to go to Melbounre and face Collingwood/St Kilda, we are cooked.

Nathan Bassett is going to hang them up at the end of the year. My workmate and I called this quite a while back, but when it actually is confirmed, it sucks....
we willl miss his animated protests when giving away a free kick. Hopefully theres a couple more dummy spits and mouthguards to be thrown before the end of the year, hehe.

I love those kids! Oh West Coast, continues the downward spiral ... really hope they offer Kerr what he wants. Would be crap if he left. As for this weekend, I worked with a Dockers supporter and a Pies supporter ... they had a somewhat wager on Friday nights game. Everybody thought Pies would smash the Dockers ... lets just say I can't wait to see the reaction tomorrow. hahah! I had to put up with Mr Collingwood wearing his Collingwod beanie and jumper all day on friday and singing the club song every 5 mins ... urgh. But they lost - hooray! Also this Carlton Draught advert cracks me up!
