Spur of the moment decision to see Shonen Knife tonight ... I guess it hasn't sold well, they are offering a 2 for 1 offer for tickets. Normal price is $30 ... to hear Banana Chips for $15 will be worth it. I've been listening to all my old CD's of them today ... I forgot how much I loved these Japanase ladies. I'll report back of its awesome. (Oh plus I Heart Hiroshima are the support act too - YAY!)

I think it was $90 each ... around that at least. Also ... Bree and I got tickets to see Pavement with their reunion show ... in New York. Next year. WAH! ... yeah. September next year, so we've got 12 months to work towards it. This might change the Melbourne move, basically we are thinking ... do some traveling before we move interstate. Oh wow! How awesome! Lots of saving to do - but the house thing is a good idea! Sell up, holiday, and then move!

We just bought Tix to see Sia. The first show sold out and we got some of the last tix for the second gig. I got to shoot her show earlier this year, it was PACKED and she was super cute. Also bought Jessy a ticket for The Buzzcocks, as I have a photo pass coming my way (god, i hope it comes through as it is on my bday, imagine if the pass fucks up and i dont get in on my bday! haha!!)
We also have Soundwave, and Jarvis coming up. And I am shooting Jeff Martin at some point too.

Well we are seeing Pavement ... in Perth and twice in Melbourne! (oh and then the New York show later in the year) YAY 2010! We would do the Adelaide show, but the tour is all over the place and Perth is in the middle of the tour (wtf) so would mean a cost of leaving Perth and then catching a flight to Perth and then back ... to much fly fly ... and when a band like Pavement have a song called 'I Love Perth' you know what city you want to see them in.

Awesome! I picked up tickets to the 2nd Grizzly Bear show at the corner hotel. This band is one of many acts i missed by a number of days when in the US/Canada!! Missed out on first show, but lucky for me, 2nd show got announced. Woo. I haven't been to a live show since Ryan Adams at the start of the year, so i'm looking forward to it Edit: sorry, i did see Julie's band mates in a show in LA when i was there

And i'm happy to add THE HORRORS in Perth to my list! Jan 30. Woo hoo.
