i've got quite a few coming up now. i can't decide between Faker and Juke Kartel, i want to see Faker more (haven't seen them since TFE tour), but they'll most likely do more shows soon whereas Juke Kartel probably won't...

i would never do splendour for that price. much better festivals in europe, exl\cluding the rediculously expensive uk ones) are around 180-200 dollar mark including camping. and they are 3 days long. how can they justify 130 bucks for being able to camp?!

Unless SP come back or NIN, R.E.M. or Crowded House announce gigs in the next 6 months, I don't think we'll be seeing anyone. We're saving for our first home so its a whole lotta saving and not much unnecessary spending.

Liam Finn is touring again, woohoo! June 12th @ East Brunswick Club. i highly recommend him to everyone if you don't already know his music, he puts on a great live show. here's a video from when i saw him supporting Sarah Blasko last year: www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBDe0h5CeD0

i saw Faker on friday night, it was good! i didn't know their music when i saw them on TFE tour, so technically this was my first time seeing them. the singer from the first support band (Violent Soho?) was wearing an obviously fake SP tee. the second supports were Grafton Primary, and they were sooooo cool! i highly recommend checking them out, i've been listening to them all week. and the singer does all these crazy jerky dance moves, it reminded me a bit of the Ava Adore video.
they're still got shows left in most states, it was only $27.50 i think, a good value night =)
