Nah i wasn't there, i'm in town staying with friends and we went to Heaven for one of our friends 19th b'day. Thats where i saw Holmes Did you like the game? i hear the crowd was going crazy like they used to. This year they have been very quiet with all the losing (or so i've heard) I saw the sixers play in game 3 when they won their last championship, now that was amazing

Nah i wasn't there, i'm in town staying with friends and we went to Heaven for one of our friends 19th b'day. Thats where i saw Holmes Did you like the game? i hear the crowd was going crazy like they used to. This year they have been very quiet with all the losing (or so i've heard) I saw the sixers play in game 3 when they won their last championship, now that was amazing yeh, i liked it. it was all a bit bizaare to begin with though. when the sixers got their first 2 points... geez, i don't think i've heard a crowd that loud before! i guess i haven't really been to ANY professional sport before... it was just intriguing to see so many fanatical fans. i found it a bit harsh (and i'm sure al did too ) with comments from the guy with the mic like "who wants melbourne to win?" (no reaction from crowd) "who wants AAAAAAADELAIDE to win?" and there's this massive roar from the crowd... it was just a strange thing to witness for the first time... people excited and cheering, and NOT for a MUSICIAN! the whole idea is foreign to me! also, the 36ers "dancers" (lol... gotta love that glorified name...) putting off melbourne when whoever it was was attempting a penalty shot! (sorry if i got any terminology wrong in this post. or the last one...)

Wow, another win, finally! Oh yeah, and it was against Victoria, Saintal ;D Dusty was a MONSTER with 36 points and 14 rebounds and Cattalini was solid as usual with 32. . Ah, yes, I avoided coming here yesterday Um, incase you're interested a brief rundown of the game would be as follows: We pretty much lead by 10-15 pts for most of the first 3 quarters, before allowing the sixers a few points late in the 3rd. I think we were up by about 8 at 3/4 time. The sixers completely over ran us in the last Q. We played the night before against the very tough and physical hawks and it showed. We were woeful. Turnover after turnover. The sixers as a result got so many easy points on fastbreaks. The last couple of mins were custom made for someone like D-Mac. (just like the 94 finals series ;D )..but obviously we dont have him anymore and with him went any poise at all. So well done to the sixers...although the score flattered them they played well in the last Q. And yeah..Dusty was great. Certainly showed his former side what he's made off. Big Pepper was great for us too.
