Tonight I pulled out a CD I hadn't listened to in ages, the soundtrack for 24 Hour Party People. I was listening to New Order's live recording of New Dawn Fades, which on the back of the CD says it features Moby. This got me thinking, New Order playing live with Moby, maybe this happened on the Area One Festival tour. Then i thought - maybe Corgan is listed as playing? Sure enough, on the liner notes, he is. How did I not know this!!!! BAH! Also (I know foxy would like this also) John Frusciante also played on the track). Imagine that, New Order, Mody, Corgan and Frusciante on the same stage at once. Wow. Sorry, I was just excited to find a recording that Corgan played on, that I never knew was out there and that I actually purchased - not for the reason that Corgan was on it. Crazy. Now im off to find that Area One recording I got from Foxy all those years ago. On a side note - if you haven't seen 24 Hour Party People ... do it!
