post anything exciting about this band you want to share, and say your goodbyes to them here.

My fave Zwan memory would probably be the first bootleg i heard, the show at the glass house. It started off so powerfully with Crysanthenum (sp!) and i was just like "fuck!, this rocks" I guess many of our first impressions of Zwan were different in the sense that their sound changed a little as they played more.
One thing that sucks about the break up - The fact that we may not hear studio versions of some of those early songs...we know that certain songs including Glorious have been recorded. Will they ever see the light of day? and if so, when?

Hmm .... my fave memory ..... buying the album and listening to it and watching the dvd for the first time. It made me so happy. *sigh* Even now I get excited when I see a magazine with Zwan in it. My mind automatically goes "must have". I remember telling people about Zwan before the album was released, some would look at me strange (nothing unusual there) or pretend they know who Zwan was (they are too commercial .... whatever ). I will miss them. Its unfortunate that we don't get to see them perform live here in Australia. And I had it all figured out, see them live at every concert in Sydney and Canberra staying with family. I had even been painting a design on a T-shirt based on Zwan - the bird and broken rainbow..... Not complete waste. Its looking pretty cool.

It was....the middle of summer, and I was cruising on my way to the beach with 'Endless Summer' on really loud. It was hot, and I was listening to new Corgan. I was a happy guy.
I'm sad they didn't finish their tour, as BC in a band making great music is something we, as fans, all deserve to see.
Hopefully he'll get his butt down here soon!

haha syringe , its true pumpkinschic errm , my favourite moment is when i donwloaded glorious off of www.poetsofzwan.comand then organised my first trade to receive a 'bootleg' so i could hear ZWAN. And when i received it along with some pumpkins boots it blew me away, i really wanted to hear more of this band. Also , telling everyone about ZWAN , and how they were awesome....it didnt go down to well when they released the album and everyone said it was 'pop' much toi my dismay. My teachers call me zwan .... i seriously do not know how they know about my musical tastes , i never tell any of them. Oh yeah , at my school because its an elitist breeding ground , as year 12's we have to fill in a form which states our 'achievements' so if your a peice of shit like me you have an empty form. But what i did do was state ' I am captain of the smashing pumpkins fan club and zwan fan club' and stated ozphoria as one of the affiliated websites. So when they print the copys and dont notice that there is no pumpkins fan club , i will 1 get an award for being a captain , and 2 chuckle to myself about the imaginary fan clubs...

Boxing Day 2002... i was in Perth chillin out with the radio in the backround, when i heard a few 2second parts of pumkins songs being played *ears pricked up*.... "and here's the first single from Billy Corgan's new band Zwan"
I dropped everything and bolted to the radio... i sat with my ear up against it for the next 4 minutes as i discovered honestly for the first time. It was love ;D

Probably in January earlier this year, I was on holiday in Margaret River and I was just resting out on the verandah and soaking up the sun... and I put on the Orpheum show (can't remember the date of the show).... and Declarations of Faith and Mary Star just blew me away.

That day was a very exciting day indeed, and as I remember it, we ended it with a Parka-Prepared barbecue and also watching the For Your Love DVD together! Awww Perth and Melbourne love -- intensified by Zwan.

About 2am or so on the morning of 15th November 2001.... i can't remember the exact time the whole night from 7pm - 8am is just a blurr.... Staying up online and talking to all the fans from the US who had come back from the first ever zwan show.... and then to hear 6 tracks within 3 hours of the band finishing.... the first i heard was Broken Heart, and it was amazing....wating for that mp3 to download...listeing to it for the first time, then getting to hear glorious, jesus i, the shining path, never let me down, el sol, and some other song! lol i forgot which it was now.... listeninig and talking about the songs until sun-up and then some more, it was awesome.

Billy had some cool "bad boys" as me and my friends call them (knitted jumpers)
I think he even pulled out some old Siamese dream shirts at one point.
I loved his Ganisha top though!
