We've heard a lot of questions from confused or new fans on the tour as to what was played, the origins of certain songs and history behind the music. So we thought we'd help clear up the confusion.
* My Blue Heaven
Originally released as a b-side on the 'Thirty Three' single (available most commonly as part of The Aeroplane Flies High box set), My Blue Heaven is a popular standard written by George Whiting (words) and Walter Donaldson (music) in 1927. The song was a hit for Jazz/Vaudeville crooner Gene Austin in the late 1920's. Smashing Pumpkins had never performed My Blue Heaven live until 2008, and have played it as part of 29 performances. Almost every single sideshow/headline performance slated in 2008 up until present (6th April 2008).
* Superchrist
First performed on 24th July 2007 at one of The Fillmore residency shows in San Francisco, Superchrist was later recorded in January with Kerry Brown.

We have had a few fans ask about where they can hear this song and how old is it?
This was a song from the Smashing Pumpkins internet release in 2000 - Machina II - The Friends and Enemies of Modern Music. You can download the recording from here:

During the song The Smashing Pumpkins played 3 covers during the middle of it.
- Britney Spears - Piece of Me
- Buffalo Springfield - For What It’s Worth
- AC/DC - Let There Be Rock
* Who was that extra guy on stage in Adelaide and Melbourne?
The person that joined the Smashing Pumpkins on stage for the Pink Floyd cover - Set the Controls to the Heart of the Sun - was Billy Corgan's brother - Jesse Anderson. Billy wrote the song Spaceboy about Jesse.
THIS FAQ IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. PLEASE BE PATIENT.
