MC303 GROOVEBOX drum machine keyboard thing How do you find this? I was thinking about a MC 303 some time ago........but I ended up getting a Korg Electribe EM-1 with a Kaoss Pad. You can sample on the MC303 right?

fender strat (original anything from 71- 74, preferable maple neck, strat plus deluxe lace sensor pickups)
marshall jcm-800 100watt amp or mesa-boogie 500 head
boss single peadals
distortion chorus flanger overdrive digital delay

Hey Syringe mouth you cant sample into the MC303 its basically just a keyboard/drum machine with a cool interface, you can only use the onboard sounds - the drum sounds lack in reality but otherwise there are some incredible sounds in there ;D the band ive played with Lunafair ( or translunar? now turned into an offshoot band - ambersuite) jason uses a MC505 and it totally is tha sh!t i thunk the electribe is similar to the mc303? can you does it have sample functions?? wow ive always wanted a Kaos pad!!!! does it rule or do you get bored of it??!? hey parka - that sounds like a cool dream set up! i used to luv all the separate pedals but at gigs the batteries keep dyin and stuff so i just got a pedal board instead.......have you cheked out the acoustics at zenith music they have soooooooo many (i used to work there..... ) - if yr ever that way you must try a Martin guitar - they are a dream!!! Taylors are pretty good to! used heaps on Machina as you probably know.....hehehe ;D but what do you think or Maton guitars? me no like the acoustics they sound thin and crapola

The electribe can't sample but the Kaoss pad does....i use it for everything.......even as a hat.

ok i've been playing for 2 and a bit years and just starting to take it seriously for the last 8 months.
my current stuff is
- "ariel" the maton mastersound 500 electric love this guitar. its a keeper. i recommend the next time you're ina shop pick one up and have a play.
- peavey strat copy. and get this, its the "nathan caverleri" sig. model! ba ha ha ha ha ha hah ha hh ahahah. sorry about that. this was my first guitar handed down from my sister. 3 words: piece of shit. i'm lucky if i have played it this year.
-cort bass i bought it for times wen i get frustrated at my sucking at playing. its a nice diversion and usually leads to me playing 46&2... good riff...
-laney head tf800 model 4 chanels, 150 watt. i liked this one because it doesn't have a marshall type tone, which automatically sets me apart from most players. i was looking at a marshall but i got this head and a quadie for $600 less than the price for just the marshall head. i can't quite remember the details of hand but it does have tubes in the preamp.
-behringer quad box 4x15" speakers, cheap, handles like a shopping trolley! those castors are strange.
-effects BOSS ME-33 effects board. nice but limited. i'd like to upgrade or get single pedals. i want a big muff NYC and whatever else billy uses. i haven't got much money atm so i haven't really thought about my next purchase other than a tunner peadl and the bigmuff.

hehe my gear: i have a very badly out of tune " Monterey" classical guitar, with an E string that is starting to come apart and stuff. I also have a drum which i made in a music class in high school out of a paint tin. As you can see, I'm not very musical, but I do want to be. Some of my friends play guitar and they want me to buy (and i suppose learn how to play) a drum kit. but i dont think im quite cut out to be a drummer.

AC30, and 100) also combo or head-quad setup what so you think sounds better... im shopping for a setup now, looking at maybe a yamaha pacifica or fender squier, maybe a gibson but i want some punch. also multi effects, is boss the best???

At the moment :
Epiphone Les Paul Deluxe / Epiphone acoustic ---> Boss OD-1 ---> Fender Studio 85 (amps don't get any cleaner than this, the OD sucks it though)
I'm in the process of getting a Wah Wah and an Small Stone and then all I need is an Ebow and I'm set!
Parka - VOX amps ARE THE SHIT. Not shit. THE shit. It's what I'm saving towards now - VOX AC30. Though DO NOT buy a "Cambridge" Vox amp.
PS - I hate Boss pedals. Except maybe the CE-1 (was that what it was called? - that vintage light blue Japan chorus) that I used to have and my OD-1 (although I'm still going to replace it the second I find something better - I've tried Rats and Tubescreamers but to no avail......)

trev and i once saw the lead singer from pollyanna play solo and he had a vox. it was the best electric clean tone i've ever heard. Indeed, and ash from even also uses a tiny little vox mic-ed up for his guitar sometimes, sounds awesome... btw jesse, i think your box is a 4 x 12, not 4 x 15. hehe, you wish..... ok so my gear is: Fender squire - black w/ white pick guard, and shit loads of stickers....from a strat pack, pretty crap, but holds down tuned strings pretty well. Fender pro 185 combo - 2 x 12" 2 channels w/ footswitch. Korg A4 effects board - broken atm but has some cool effects, got it 2nd hand for really cheap Yamaha combo - 2 channel can't remember the model, about 100watts and a real shit OD channel. clean sounds good tho. Fender practise amp - little piece of crap from the strat pack. Valencia acoustic nylon string - first ever guitar, looking to upgrade. lol Dream set-up: Marshall TSL 2000 head - i just love this amp. It will be mine when i have the cash..... Fender Jaguar. Italia 12 string electric. Acoustic 12 string cut-away, not sure what brand yet, still looking around.
