Chris is also on the cover of the new issue of Australian Guitar, there's also a few pages on Scott. Chris's Gretsch ad <33

I got it today too, so in love with it! Im the same as you, with the excitment of this album I went back and listened to all the albums I used to spin constantly. Im going to go through my old Living End stuff over the weekend, I want to find the pictures I got sign by Chris, Scott and Trav. Have you watched the DVD yet? I still haven't ... but will do so tonight! I've set the intro to How Do We Know as my ringtone on my iPhone - haha

ooh that would be such a cool ringtone! the dvd is good, i'd already seen most of the ACDC lane gig, and the 'making of' only goes for 7 mins so it's nothing special. i've been on a bit of a break from listening to the band for awhile, i hardly listened to them at all last year except to get pumped up for their EG Awards gig. it's good to get back into them though, they're just so fucking good, i really love them. i never got to meet them when Trav was still in the band, but i went to the signings for the Singles & SOE.
what your fave album? songs?

Fav song ... fav album. Geez thats a tough one for sure. I'd have to go with the Self Titled for my favourite album, I know its a bit cliche but yeah I love it. Fav song, I may have to make a list of fav of each album ... watch this space. Thats a cool signed poster In 1997 I won a competition with Recovery where I got to meet The Living End backstage after a gig. It was a really cool experience. I had to design a postage stamp, was pretty cool, I'll find a scan of it. So yeah thats how I met the guys and chatted with them, talked about rockabilly bands with Chris .... one of the best conversations. He recommended a bunch of rockabilly bands I now love, he also told me I should get into the Manic Street Preachers. Funny to think he was the reason I got into those bands To be 15 at the time ... was pretty friggin cool.

wow that is so fucking cool!! want to recommend any rockabilly bands to me? here's my stuff from the signing last week, i had a pretty shit day - long story short, i lost my place in line, had to wait 2 hrs when i should have been up the front, didn't get to talk to the guys, didn't get any photos, and got charged $50 for parking. at least i got my poster signed though.

whoa ... huge venues ... White Noise must of sold well. Sometimes its awkward seeing an act like that try and play to larger venues ... it can sometimes be lost on and audience and show suffers. I remember seeing Jebs years ago, go from pub/club band to 'larger' sized shows ... and it just wasn't the same ... maybe that was just me. Anyway, happy for the lads.

no you're right, it won't be the same. i think i'll try and get a photo pass for this, i don't know what my chances would be since it's such a big gig, but at least if i was bummed about the lack of atmosphere i could have some cool photos.
they're also doing this regional festival the next day called Groovin in the Moo, it's in Bendigo here, not sure about other states. i was thinking of going to that anyway, but i don't think i could say no to seeing the band in my/their home town.
