Hunting around book sites on my lunch break at work I came across something that sounded interesting. Its called 'Comic Book Tattoo' and it is a book full of graphic novel stories inspired by Tori Amos songs. I put an order in for the Hardcover edition and waited...and when it arrived I was blown away. It is 12" x 12" (so massive!) and beautifully printed. There are so many varied styles in the art inside, I havent had a chance to read it all yet, but I flicked through and looked at alot of the art. I found this interview online with the person who put it all together, and it gives you a good idea of what it is all about. I know some of you will be interested. Wont let me embed it so here is the link www.maniatv.com/shows/spread-entertainment/playlists/interviews/videos/interview-rantz-hoseley-s04e11-082808 From Dave Navarro's online talk show (who knew!?) BTW add Tori to the list of artists who's contracts with their label has ended, and who have not sought out another label! She is no longer with Sony, and in another interveiw I watched she mentioned wanting to get back to being an Indie artist and starting her own Indie label so that she can partner with whoever she wants!

YEah - CBT is sooo awesome!
Each comic story is an interpretation of one of her songs. It features David Mack who is one of my favourite artists - Tori even attended San Diego Comicon to help promote it and do some signings! Go get it - its great

Yeah I saw his name on the list before I ordered it. I own some of the Kabuki comics that he has done.
