Hey guys, i'm a Sydney sider. last Saturday i went to a records fair around Broadway Street and i was able to pick up a Machina promo picture disc for $50. I was over the moon as you can imagine haha but i was wondering if anyone knew where i could get the 2 LP version of the album. My mate picked it up from JB HIFI a couple of years ago and i haven't seen it anywhere else since. Any sugguestions would be appreciated. Thanx!

Hi there! The picture disc is a known bootleg - sorry to burst your bubble! It is a cool looking vinyl piece though. Here's some info on the Machina Picture Disc bootleg: www.spfc.org/songs-releases/boot.html?boot_id=181As sunky and I are in Perth we are only really aware of stock amounts and availability of such items in our own city unless other Ozphorians alert us to their existence in their cities. BUT Dada Records in Perth run a mail order service for anywhere in the world and as they've had quite a lot of Pumpkins stuff in store in the past, I'm sure they could let you know if they help. I think last time I saw Machina for sale it was around $60 or so. Anyway, head to Dada Records website here: www.dadarecords.com.au/There's an enquiry email on the site so I'd strongly suggest sending them a stock query. Also, 78 Records (also in Perth) stock a lot of vinyl too so maybe send them a query too. Their site: www.78records.com.au/info/I noticed 78's site is undergoing some changes at the moment so if you want to find out whether they can order Machina for you, I think a phone call would be in order. Hope this helps! If all these avenues fail, try eBay!

I picked my Machina up from a record fair, could even have been Camberwell in Victoria. You see it around a fair bit and those record fairs I have found.

i've always wanted the 2LP version, it'd look amazing. i've seen the picture disc around a fair bit but never bought it because the colours bugged me (but maybe all the ones i've seen are fakes)

The Machina vinyl is worth the money, purely for the artwork and paper stock ... plus the cover is embossed. Hmmm nice printing.

Hmmm nice printing. yeah, seeing as it isnt really much different in price to any other SP vinyl it is really one that is worth hunting down. And Bec, all the picture discs you have seen have been fake, because they are all fake.

haha, as disappointed as i am about the picture disc not being an official piece, it does look and sound beautiful so it's not a huge mistake buying it. Thanx so much for the info! i'll do my best to chase up those links.
