Hey everybody, new article up on SP.com about the end of the Zeitgeist era and the new era of the Smashing Pumpkins. Thought we could have some discussion on here, reflections of Zeitgeist and also how it feels now (for the first time in years) to have the Smashing Pumpkins finish an era and then be continuing into the next straight away. Hope you enjoy: www.smashingpumpkins.com/pages/articles/2009-next-chapter

I really hope that songs like 99 Floors, No Surrender, Owata and Song for a Son get some recording love... I really love that direction that they seem to be taking... But as you said in the article, you can't expect anything with the pumpkins...
If they came back and went totally rock my socks off with some heavy stuff then thats great too.

Hey sunky, nice article.
I am looking forward to the next chapter, if they released 'If all goes wrong' to be a glimpse of what is to come then I sure that ti is going to be terrific however I doubt it, though songs are from the Zeitgeist Era so I think we will be hearing the fresher stuff that has been coming out on the recent tour.

I'm looking forward to what they do next. After finally getting to view "If All Goes Wrong" I have an even more new found respect for what Billy is trying to achieve. I have a feeling that regardless of what the media or fans or critics say about it, Billy's influence as far as how he evolves the next era of his band, will have an impact and create a blueprint for upcoming bands.

i think the new album must have more contributions by the band members in the lyrics, sound, and also would be cool it butch vig could produce the new album. zeitgeist was bc solo for me.
