Seeing as it is a bit quite on the news front I thought I might post a conversation starter.
Question: What is everyone's favorite song that the Pumpkin's cover?
Personally, I am a fan of Dancing in the Moonlight, I can listen to the Disarm single all day long.

All that she wants "Don't you know how dumb you are!"
Smells like teen spirit
No those are terrible covers, and were jokes
Probably Landslide. I'm downloading an old show where they covered enter sandman supposedly, should be interesting.

Yeah Never Let Me Down again is a cracker, Dancing In The Moonlight also
I'm also fond of the live Godzilla and Sookie Sookie Jams - Billy banter always makes me laugh

I really liked Dreaming from the BWBW single back in the day. Transmission was also a cracking cover, and most recently I have enjoyed both Lips Like Sugar and Set The Controls for the Heart of the Sun.
Just to the throw the cat amongst the pigeons, are there any good covers of SP songs by other bands. I haven't heard one yet...

Ben Kweller did "Today" which was cool but nothing special, and there was a tribute to the band with a bunch of heavy groups covering tunes was there not?

'Never Let Me Down Again' and 'Dreaming'.
I'm thinking I might ahve to go back and revisit The Bravery's version of 'Rocket' seeing as I have been on a bit of a Bravery kick.

I thought the live performance of Rock On was great when it was done on it own, not before HMM. The performance at the Tabernacle in May 2000 was fantastic.

I really love SP's version of Venus in Furs from Mashed Potatoes. Never Let Me Down, Landslide and Transmission are great as well.
