Hey all,
Just had a look at NIN.com and it seems that over in the new forum, there are a number of fans, who have been recording shows in both Audio & Video of the latest NIN Tour!
most of this is all in lovely HD quality video too! and there is quite a lot of recordings up there (say about 400GB) at the moment!
Just thought i would let people know, but i guess this may be old news to most. but this would be awesome if a few of us would like to share the download limit, and swap shows, or some of you NIN fans may already have some of it!
Cheers, Waz.

I'm pretty sure this has been covered in the NIN tour thread in the gen forum I for one have no interedt in these files (yet) Once certain individuals ahve made a 'dvd' of sorts, then i'll probably download, as the footage looks pretty good, but this is just way too much for me to really wanna download now.

Yeah that's for sure! ... i think there is one or two early DVD's that have been made with multi cam, but it seems that they are waiting for the cleaver people to do the hard work and get them organized into spiffy final DVD versions. I might just download one of the avi files for one of the shows, just to have some new NIN footage to watch, as the only dvd i have from them is the Offical DVD they released a while ago, but this does not have much new stuff.
I'm sure they will keep us posted on progress.

1. they're not AVI's you'll need a mac to edit the footgate... and a good one at that... they're working on getting the footage converted for PC's... 2. each show is 150GB-200GB...
umm so yeah... but i'm slowly downloading Portland Cam1-1 its like 8GB

well aware of the format of these files, I was simply refering to the sample files which are floating around, as here is not much point downloading these raw footage as of yet, until people edit and compile the footage. There are several samples out there for download. like this. nothings.org/nin_vid/ Yes most of the recorded video is in HD, but Apple Mac are not the be all and end all of computing. Don't get me wrong, im a graphic Designer, and use Mac's evey day. I have even used $30,000 Mac machines for video Television projects, but for every person using a mac, there is another using PC. Macs are no doubt easier to use, but it is not that hard to edit such content on a PC using Premiere for example.
