A source told E!: "They think he's too old for her. No one takes any of her boyfriends seriously anymore because she has had so many. They're sick of all of them being 'The One'." The pair were first romantically linked in November when they met at a party in Los Angeles. A source said: "She has completely fallen for Billy and his easygoing, smart attitude. She says she wants to take things a lot further. "She had secretly been crushing on him for months and felt there was a connection at the party. "As the night went on things got more intense and they talked with their faces just inches apart." In September, Simpson revealed her admiration for Billy. She wrote on her twitter page: "My friend, Billy Corgan, has a pure and enlightening outlook on faith. Go to his new website!" |

I mean - she's hot and all, and if the opportunity arose - I'd hit it. But Billy - surely he can do better!?!? Then again - it seems he's fond of Paris Hilton and Tila Tequila. Maybe he loves the trashy ho-bags. (Courtney Love - i rest my case your honour.) I'm just waiting for the duet!

I'm sure a few years ago I'd be all outraged about this, but as it stands I don't really care who he's dating/sleeping with. Whatever, dude. As long as he's happy, healthy and making good music it's all good by me.

just read about this on Stereogum when reading about Song for a Son. however, the link they provided (here: www.okmagazine.com/2009/12/jessica-simpson-has-a-new-crush/) only mentioned that Jess is apparently only smitten with Billy (aren't we all, though? ;P) and not actually going out with him. the comments are fun though. "i thought he was gay?" i'd say bi-curious at the least but gay? no... his world view is just slightly more effeminate than the average male. that and he has trouble choosing the right women.  i'm a sucker. i actually think it's kind of sweet. i even thought Billy and Tequila was sort of sweet too. though, at the end of the day, if it makes Billy happy, then i have no reason to infringe on that. it is, after all, his life and he has the right to live it as he wishes. plus i can't seem to bring myself to hate the man for anything anymore. especially since i realised how much of a role him and his music plays in my life. i guess it's true. you'll never know who you'll love and who won't. (yes, i do understand that i've come out of hiding on the eve of my birthday to discuss Billy Corgan's association with Jessica Simpson. i'm just that lame. but seriously, HI GUYS!  ) |

haha, i had to laugh after i saw a chanel 9 news update, it made me think of "My friend, Billy Corgan, has a pure and enlightening outlook on faith. Go to his new website!" it said jessica simpson is the first celebrity linked to the tiger woods sex scandal. funny stuff.

My wife pointed this out to me when the Channel Nine News 'Celebrity Gossip' section (Richard Wilkins I guess) mentioned it. I wasn't in the room, so she came to me and said "Guess who Billy Corgan's dating now?" Instantly I said "Oh christ, not Courtney Love?" She looked at me oddly and said "No, Jessica Simpson."
ME: "Really?? i didn't think he'd go out with someone like her."
WIFE: "Well I didn't think she would go out with someone like him."
ME: "Oh well, good luck to him. At least it wasn't Courtney."
