Who's read it? It kind of makes me feel ill, and not want to read anything Billy says anymore. I'm interested to see how the music turns out, but while listening will constantly be thinking about how Billy *fired* Jimmy a second time. That has got to be the single stupidest thing Billy has ever done. www.mediafire.com/?mmig2zm34nm

I'm yet again surprised how little I care about this. Billy said some stuff about Jimmy, Jimmy said some stuff about Billy. We don't know the full story, the author has written in a way to "spark outrage" no doubt. It doesn't make me fee ill, just a little sad that it is being seen as a mudslinging match again. Jimmy's heart obviously wasn't in it anymore, he didn't want to take on a big project so he left/Billy asked him to go. "Fired" is most likely a harsh word, but the media will run with it. The fans that have spoken with Jimmy and the statement JC made on SP.com all said "his heart wasn't there" / "he just couldn't cash the cheque anymore" ... that was it. They've caught up a few times since then, and from reports from both of them "they are still good friends" While I would love to have Jimmy in the Pumpkins again, if his heart isn't in it and his heart isn't in the direction the main song writer wants to go and they couldn't find a happy medium together ... they needed to split and go their own ways. Was like with James, his heart wasn't in the band, ever since Robot James from 1998 took to the stage, he just stopped caring about the Pumpkins. I would prefer to have a 19 yr old kid who wants a future with the band, than Jimmy who isn't in for the right reasons. My advice to Billy, talk about the music from now on, make that his focus and only that. All this other stuff just takes away from his main goal at the moment. Anyway, thanks for the scan too

"He released three albums, each a contradictory attempt to redefine himself, and they all flopped"
Those being the future embrace. zwan mstos, and zeitgeist? (correct me if I'm wrong) They might not have been huge sellers but there was some quality music on them.
Jessica and Billy doing a duet?
He thought he'd string the top songs amongst the good songs as a suprise, but is now pushing them forward. I'd hate to get all the good songs first and then the others later. I think he should do what he was originally going to do.
"they recorded a relentlessly heavy album called zeitgeist" Bullshit, it had some great mellow songs attached like stellar and neverlost
Sunky's right, Billy should focus on what we love him for - the music. His fans don't care much for his personal life like pop stars fans do. The media is never nice to him.

Yes it makes me feel ill. I honestly thought Billy was finished with this sort of shit. And by that I mean getting publicity with negativity and saying how he wants to kill himself every morning. WTF is up with that. I thought BC had gotten over that. I have been reading EFHTT since it started. This interview seems to go against everything Billy has been trying to achieve with that site. I just don't get it. He's supposedly writing a book about his spiritual journey. Who is going to read that book after this interview? Not me. As was said on the Hipsters United pod cast, he is the Tom Cruise of alt rock.
Billy has said in past interviews how he enjoys the wrestling because the wrestlers put on a persona in the same way he does as a rock star. Is that what he's doing here? Stay tuned for round 2.
