www.ozphoria.com/post/901557673/after-6-years-a-perfect-circle-are-backAfter 6 years away (wow that has gone quickly) A Perfect Circle tweeted out of nowhere today a simple message: It’s On. @mjkeenan @puscifer @billyhowerdel Josh Freese has tweeted he is excited (what that means for Weezer though?) and the @aperfectcircle account even threw out the question to original APC bassist (ex Zwan bass player) Paz (but they linked to the wrong account). However the band that James Iha joined on tour in 2003 is even asking the question we are all asking: @james_iha Where ya at? The last we heard was that James was bunkered down finishing his follow up to his first 1997 solo release of ‘Let it Come Down’, does this mean it could be put on hold? So all we have is a band saying they are back, but no idea of the line up and who is in and who is out. Let the speculation begin! ---------------------------------------------------- I actually got excited while reading this and then realised I haven't listened to their albums in over 5 years. Maybe I should dust them off?

i was the same, and it took only a few notes to remember how much of a classic mer de noms is. be interesting to see what comes of it.. you'd think it'd have to be a do something straight away thing as it wont be tooooooooooo long till tool are back with a new album

I listened to both albums and was totally in love again ... I still don't like eMotive.

Yeah Scott, there are a few tracks I enjoy on eMotive but overall I find it very odd in how it is structured. Seems all over the place at times. Anyhoo, interesting to see how long something takes to happen with this.

If I recall correctly emotive was kinda cobbled together because they were trying to get it out before the 2004 election. I really like What's Going On, but yeah generally, noone would go to emotive night unless they broke out some new material or something. Incredibly exciting news though.

You are right about emotive, but it would be great to see some new material. And maybe another tour, they were awesome last time I saw them - back in 2004.
