I have a few in mind but I know there are many different interpretations to some songs and would like to know:
What is the most romantic Pumpkins song and why?
Mr Saintal and I are getting married in May and so we are starting to think about which songs to include in our wedding. Unfortunately neither of us are around very often at all anymore due to life changing as we've both grown up a bit! We were both on the o-board all those years ago and the Pumpkins really were a big foundation for our relationship.
Looking forward to hearing what you guys think!

I'm also getting married very soon and want to have a Pumpkins song in the church.
I'm tossing up between SIYL and 33. I think the original SIYL might be a bit loud for the church... but I'm not that into having live versions as there's often noise.
Thoughts?

I would say Luna. It's such a sweet, simple love song that lulls you into a Siamese Dream with its gentle romance. SIYL is of course the quintessential SP love song, but I've always had a softer spot in my heart for Luna than SIYL. 33 is also an excellent choice, though. Once again a simple, gentle song that carefully plucks the heart strings to make it sing. However, it's completely your choice.

Congrats to you both! Bree and I had Luna as our wedding song, it was short, soft and meant something special to us both. We also walked down the aisle to Mellon Collie ... I've always had a soft spot for Cupid too in these sorts of situations.

Thanks for the help!
I've decided to go with 33. The other songs are just a little bit loud/heavy for the church I think. But I get to pick a bunch of songs to go on the wedding DVD so I'll chuck them in there.
Smashing Pumpkins in Melbourne will be a good warm up to the wedding!!!!! See you guys there.

All great suggestions - thanks guys I read on another forum (non-Pumpkins, and even a non-music forum!) that some people are having By Starlight which made me scratch my head a bit. I guess that it could have a special meaning to the couple..? And Simon - we've been trying to find someone to play MCIS for us on piano/strings for our processional and no one seems to want to do it! Would love to have it played rather than just plugging in an iPod. We'll have to keep trying!

Haha - thanks Parka We've found someone who can do MCIS for us, still waiting to hear back from her with a quote/availability though. The night after hearing SIYL at the Adelaide show, they played a video montage at the end of the Commonwealth Games using it as the soundtrack too... is it possible that a song can keep getting better and better even after all this time? I swear it does.

Beautiful (from Mellon Collie). A simple song but would be fitting for a wedding I think.
Also, Raindrops + Sunshowers (from Machina) could be nice too.
Whatever you decide upon I am sure it will be lovely.
Best wishes for your wedding day.
