Hi All,
I have a huge favour to ask for tomorrow night, and if the answer is no then that's cool.
Basically, with the short notice of the tour announcement and everything, I have been unable to get tomorrow off work, I have just exhausted my last option of asking the one remaining person with tomorrow off if they can swap and unfortunately, I will be working until 4:30PM.
I'm wondering if any of you who might be doing the early line up thing would be able to save a spot for me, so I don't end up down the back. I was going to get reserved seating this show but obviously that wasn't possible!
Last show in 2008 I was one of the first people there and met a few of you guys who seemed really cool, which is why I joined here, but unfortunately don't get much time to read forums these days, pretty much just the news.
Like I said, if you're unable to help me that's cool, I just thought of this as a last ditch resort to try help me not be stuck down the back - if I didn't have to work I would be lined up at 8:30AM. If you can help, you would have my eternal gratitude!
Regards, Rik

Hope things worked out ok for you Rik.
Was a pretty easy going crowd, and we got there about 25 minutes before the start and got a great spot.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to get back to you Nick. I got to the doors about 5:30ish to find bugger all people there, but was good to catch up with some of you who I met at the last Adelaide show. I'm still in envy how you guys travel around to all the shows, how I would love to do that. I ended up front row, and it was awesome. Things did work out well, and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. It was amazing to finally be up that close, considering that at the Mellon Collie tour I had seats and the last show, even though I was one of the first people in the line at 9am-ish, I still ended up four or five rows back.

Glad you got a good position , Last tour you had to contend with QOTSA fans as well.
My one gig in Melbourne I ended up on the balcony most of the night as I was filming the gig, I would have loved to be on the barrier, but some things are worth giving up.
