@ SImon awesome thanks (and waaah for being sick, but good timing!) Did you see the banner on the GU site (you might have to refresh as it changes with one or two other banners) its really cool, makes me happy that they are actually promoting it as any sort of SP promotion seems to be so rare in australia. Im sure a big part of that is due to their contact with you/ozphoria.
@ VIc - tell me about it! fingers crossed hey, 15th sounds viable - a few days after the US. Lets hope! AND the 15th is a saturday which is when we get new music releases, correct?

WHY THE FUCK isn't Jeff wearing a seatbelt! ... pressing issues people! pressing issue!

Jesus H Christ!!!!!!! Why isn't Billy wearing a seatbelt! None of them are! Unless, of course, they have those across the waist seatbelts on..... you know? The kinds they have in buses, or, come to think of it, in the middle of ever backseat of a car hahaha!
ok ok ok - seriously though, I haven't come across this song before.
This is great.

I just read the interview with the director of If All Goes Wrong on SP.com and makes mention of Billy creating the musical score for the doco, I thought it would be songs we know ... Didn't expect new songs recorded for it.
Yeah you could be right about the waist seatbelts! Hehe

woohoo, gotz tickets for Me, Jessy, Steve and my brother, and jimmy is buying his online now knowing where i am sitting - so hopefully we can all be together like the big mess of ozphorians that we are Also, the tickets must have only just gone on sale because i checked about 30 mins ago and it wasnt working, but when i went to buy there were already 12 seats booked, it is a small cinema by the look of it, i think this will sell out easily.

And its not that small of a cinema, there are 2 huge screens there then 2 still really big ones then this is the next size down from that which is still good, i guess theres probably about 150-200 seats? dunno, horrible with guessing that kinda stuff

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OrpheusThe most famous story in which Orpheus figures is that of his wife Eurydice (also known as Agriope). While fleeing from Aristaeus (son of Apollo), Eurydice ran into a nest of snakes which bit her fatally on her heel. Distraught, Orpheus played such sad songs and sang so mournfully that all the nymphs and gods wept. On their advice, Orpheus traveled to the underworld and by his music softened the hearts of Hades and Persephone (he was the only person ever to do so), who agreed to allow Eurydice to return with him to earth on one condition: he should walk in front of her and not look back until they both had reached the upper world. In his anxiety he forgot that they both needed to be in the upper world, and he turned to look at her, and she vanished for the second time, but now forever. Edit: This is actually really really sad.

more info: www.spfc.org/songs-releases/song.html?song_id=984&song_type=-1Listed on the printed setlist for 2007/07/05, but never performed. EDIT: Any Perth people, GU are fixing tickets as we speak ... They've also asked me for ideas to get fans to the event? ... any ideas for the other states? ... the meetups maybe? ... They are really wanting to get people to this.

hmmm - well, what options do we have, we've sent out mass emails - obviously. Private messages for those that either send the emails to junk or whatever? Miss V has already started a facebook event thing for it. I guess we could call radio stations and tell them about it?

Well Im on JJJ this Monday (or maybe Tuesday) so that will help ...
I can't see anything else apart from mentioning it to everybody we know, other forums, other sites, facebook, myspace etc ...
With Ozphoria its yeah been emailed out, facebooked, myspaced, twittered and posted on the site. Oh plus I'll update it on SP.com too and maybe get it out on their myspace.
Oh and also ... this is a long shot. Im going to try and get in touch with some papers about it too!

Damn being a WA-er, eh? Hopefully it gets fixed soon!
I'll try and see if ECU has a outlet to get this sort of news out. Being a country campus person, its a little tricker cause in Perth, I'd just put posters up.

Attention Melbourne kids!
I just spoke to a lovely chap at Jam Factory, who tells me the cinema that IAGW is screening in holds 290, and only 35 tickets have been booked.
Good news for those who haven't booked yet... but we don't want to be the only 30 odd people in the cinema. So, tell your friends, tell your Mum, tell the guy that makes your coffee in the morning.
