Hey all thought I'd finally post over here at Ozphoria as well as at zwan.com.
I'm travelling to Melbourne for the first time at the beginning of June from Brisbane, just wondering if any locals can recommend essential music shops to visit to buy pumpkins and zwan items ?
Cheers ;D

Why hello there, I'm your friendly Melbourne record store tour guide. hehe ;D First on the list, is Smoke Dreams, which is located on Flinders St, just a wee bit on from Elizabeth St. Smoke Dreams usually have an array of Pumpkins Tshirts, patches and stickers. Its a bit pricey, you'll be looking at about $45 for a tshirt. Next is Peril Underground, which is located in a small alley which runs off Elizabeth St, just around the corner from Smoke Dreams. No one knows the name of the alley, but its located near a Maccas and a take away food place. Peril usually has a few live shows on video and sometimes cd. I think they are overpriced but sometimes its worth it. And now on to our favourite. Heartland. Heartland is located on Peel St, which is very close to the Queen Victoria Markets. If you catch a tram up Elizabeth St to the markets, then you can just walk through the markets and you will come to Peel St. Heartland is on the other side of the road and they have a fantastic selection to choose from. They always have boots, promo cds, vinyls and sometimes tshirts.
We found another great store recently, its some place out in the suburbs but I forget where. I'm sure Jesse knows. I hope that all makes sense to you, if you'd like a personal tour, we like nothing more than showing fellow Pumpkin-heads around our city.
thankyou please drive through.

Which is a purple store, about 3 shops down from a rug place. lol

Yes Trev, but if one were already on Elizabeth St - say just having visited Peril - then the tram up Elizabeth would be much quicker. ;D
