Hello there. Thank you for dropping in, very nice of you ;D
As you may or may not have read in some of my other posts on the board, I'll be in Perth from December 4-10 and I'm hoping to do a bit of shopping while I'm over there, because it sounds like you guys have got a lot of Pumpkins + Zwan merch!
So, because I'm a Perth newbie I need a little help in getting started. Could you please tell me some good shops to look at for Pumpkins + Zwan and generally any other good music merchandise? Name, address and if you know what sort of goods they have there, that'd be awesome! ;D
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your help. See you in Perth guys!

www.ozphoria.org.au ... in the merchandise section. All the main stores you'll need to find stuff from. If we can organise a meetup we so have to, we're pretty flat out at the moment ... but if you have some time we should try and say hello

That'd be awesome ;D Considering it's my first time over to Perth and I doubt I'll be going back any time soon, just cause it's so far away...So yeah, meeting you guys would be nifty And thanks for the link Simon lol. I'd completely forgotten about that page, wooops. I'll write the addresses of those stores down and check them out! And I'll use it more often too, for when I head down to Melbourne too.

Well I'm back home, and I had an excellent time in Perth It's a wonderful place. I managed to get around to all five record stores on Monday, within the space of about 5 hours! Go me I picked up two items, and I found a fair few others that I didn't pick up for various reasons. So I thought I'd do a review of Perth's record stores in here, and let everyone know what I found while over there. Mills RecordsThere didn't seem to be any Pumpkins things here, but I'll admit I didn't search their vinyl collection and I didn't have a long time to hunt around the shop. I picked up a nice Jeff Buckley poster though. It's poster number 41 on the middle rack if anyone wants to get it Blowfly RecordsI was surprised to find this was mostly vinyl stuff, but it was the only shop that had a Pumpkins single on CD, so it gets points for that. It had the Tonight, Tonight single for $15. And it also had a Greatest Hits t-shirt. 78 RecordsThis is an awesome shop, really huge and a big variety of things, but I didn't really find anything of interest to me. It does have a nifty book section though Kerouac and Ginsberg to name a few. And there were bios of Nick Cave and the Buckleys too. Music FinderThis was a really excellent shop too I never hear anybody from Perth mentioning much about it though! It had a whole lot of stuff, particularly good if you're a Nirvana, Metallica or Kiss fan lol. There were two GH jumpers and one GH shirt, and also 5 or 6 Pumpkins video boots for $85 each. But I understandably didn't touch them There were also two smallish Pumpkins tour posters for a show at Madison Square Garden, for $95 each. But I didn't get them...So they're still there for anyone who wants them Dada RecordsThis store impressed me too. Had a huge collection of vinyl, CDs, posters, shirts, the lot. We got to this one at the end of the day, so I consequently didn't have as much time to spend in here as I would have liked, but I did pick up a nifty black and white Gish era poster It was also number 41, which is freaky...41 must be a good number for me So there you have it!

I forgot to add that this is what's on my Gish poster It's black and white though, and it has "Smashing Pumpkins" above the band, and "Gish" below them, both in the Gish album font.

Alot there, but over-priced.

Hmm...My brother suggested that getting me one of those posters would have been a good idea for a Christmas present, but he only said that once we were back home. I guess if he's willing to spend the money to buy it and to get it shipped over here, and now that I know they're authentic, how could I refuse? lol
