i know this post is from awhile back, but whereabouts in Melbourne did you get the vinyls? the best places i know/knew for rare shit around the city are Smoke Dreams, Gaslight (RIP), Second Spin (RIP), Missing Link... there's a store called Melbourne Music Exchange next to the Corner Hotel in Richmond that sell vinyls though, i got my Adore one for about $28 from there last year

Heartland Records on Peel St (next to the Vic Market) is the best place for vinyls, also Rare Records on Acland St St. Kilda is good too.

i've heard about Heartland Records a bunch of times but i've never actually been there, i'll definately have to make the effort next time i go into the city. Rare Records is cool, expensive but cool.

Rare records in St Kilda is amazing. I want to go into the store with a Credit Card and rack up everything! Heartland was OK but a bit expensive. Go for the trip to St Kilda, grab a coffee and wander up to rare records. Then come down for lunch and go up again. we've got nothing like that in FOADelaide minus the records and collectables fair. $220 there last time. OFF TOPIC - Dunno if they've still got the record fairs in tasmania but they had some pretty rare stuff from the early 90s there. The fairs were smaller but full of goodness

I went out to Rare Records, St Kilda on monday, I nearly blew my wad! I did in fact blow alot of cash on some SP albums on vinyl and a SIYL promo single. They had heaps of other cool stuff there I wanted to get as well, but the budget only stretches so far...

Hey Todd, what did you mean by this: Heath just sent me a message - and without stealing the man's thunder - I cant wait to see what he has to show off in Melbourne! Was there a Melbourne or Adelaide find that nobody has posted yet?

it was his Zero tattoo - the new ZERO with the strike through the Z and O looked pretty cool!
Post a pic if you have one Heath!

Oh ok. I was thinking it was something like a rare find like an 'I Am One' Limited Potential vinyl or something equally cool. Not sure if I woulda been so keen to run out and get the new symbol just yet but thats just me.
I'm still deciding what I want... but I'm off topic so I'm gonna have to go and kick my own ass.
