My Pink Tristessa 7" arrived the other day, absolutely perfect condition, all intact (original plastic sleeve with "color vinyl" sticker on it, sub pop singles subscription form attatched etc.) I was so excited!! And i, just this afternoon, won an auction for a copy of that "20 explosive dynamic super smash hit explosions!" vinyl LP, original 1991, factory sealed. It was only US$10 so that is like AU$14 I know that www.eil.com is very very expensive, and that you would never buy anything from there, but i was astonished to see that they are selling one there for....get this....AU$580!!! my god! Apparently it was limited to one or two thousand. I hope that what i get is the real deal and all, if it is, must be a massive bargain! cant wait until it arrives

I dont know why on earth it would ever be that expensive, i just found the pravda site (the ppl who put the record out in the first place) and it seems that they are still selling it now! And it has the original catalogue number! hmmm, dont know what all that is about then! www.pravdamusic.com/compilations/ktel.htm#

did you go to the web link above??? i wonder if the website is old, or if they actually do still have copies of the original pressing. You should investigate further if you are really interested....it says it is only US$8.99 - maybe an email would be in order firs? You would think that they would have to know the value of it, wouldnt you?
