thoughts on the try try try film clip and short movie?
i was in awe of both amazing pieces of work when i first saw them...the combination of lyrics and the storyline of the vid is mind-blowing.
"in detroit, on a memphis train"
"the automatic gauze of your memories"

Which ending do you prefer? The sentimentalist in me prefers the shortform/filmclip version

Which ending do you prefer? The sentimentalist in me prefers the shortform/filmclip version watched it again last night and yeah, im too much of a secret optimist/empathist to prefer the longer film verson ending! so yeah, im with you, prefer the clip ending! much more uplifting if anything..

I prefer the ending of the long version. Cause i like death and stuff. Nah I dont know why, It just seems more poignant... I think because of the vcoice over it just has a bit more power, it makes me cry:(

the long version is definately much more confronting, which is a good thing. (i agree, it has a lot to do with the voice - it really takes it to another level). i once asked a friend if she was interested in watching the longer version (she wasnt a pumpkins fan) and i felt really horrible aftterwards because she was sobbing uncontrollably for quite a while i think its breathtaking that something as short as a film clip can move one into that sort of emotional state.
