That wasn't wanky at all ... I've found it hard to describe why I love his new music.

As EITS said, because it's so simple and honest... On face value it's prefect to work to or concentrate on something else, look deeper and it's passionate and exactly what EITS said, for anyone who has every felt loss.

That wasn't wanky at all ... I've found it hard to describe why I love his new music. Blood Bank in particular has this way of just transporting me to this other place, it really absorbs you. From the moment I put it on (especically on the headphones) I feel as if I'm being sucked into this o ther dimension. Really hard to explain without cheapening it with cliches. Thank you both for your above thumbs up on the description. I just hope we get more music soon from Bon Iver.

I'm assuming you're also a "Mad Season," "Three Fish" and "Brad" fan as well? Even the sideprojects from Pearl Jam manage to become all time favourties for me. So so good. Marilyn Manson - The Golden Age Of Grotesque Marilyn Manson - Eat Me, Drink Me Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile I can't seem to draw myself away from Manson and NIN at the moment.

I never have known about Three Fish ... definately going to check it out. I liked Brad, but they did annoy when I was younger. To be honest I haven't listened to them for a good 8 years or so ... maybe its time to give them another chance. Mad Season - one of my favourite records. Love it. I think the PJ love this week has come from ordering the Ten box set ... can't wait

Mad Season is also one of my favourite records. I reckon it is Layne's most honest and brilliant performance ever. This Pearl Jam ten box set, will it be available in stores like JB's when it's released? Currently on a break at work and listening too: Deftones - Saturday Night Wrist

Listening to the handful of ISIS tracks I have and wondering why I hadn't caught onto them before... they sound like a cross between Sigur Ros and Slint, but heavy. And I love Sigur Ros, Slint and heavy music!

And I love Sigur Ros, Slint and heavy music! Great band isis Also check out The Red Sparowes and Pelican if you haven't already. Quite similar, perhaps more melodic than Isis. Currently enjoying: Arcade Fire- Neon Bible Explosions in the sky- All of a sudden... Agalloch- The White EP Anathema- Alternative 4

Yeah the album has been beautifully layered, especially with the orchestral work around it. I really am digging it!
