How good is the live version with the 'ladies and gentleman welcome to circus of its kind in the world world world worl wuuuuurrld THE WORLD IS A VAAAAAMPIREEE' ooooooh i love it i dont think it works as well with Geek USA which they used for a little while (Berlin Bullet etc) it definately suits this song. Furthermore Adore era BWBW do you prefer this version? i remember the first time i heard it , i was trying to work out what song it was , and then came the crunching riff , i still prefer MCIS circus version. I guess the same is with Zero live during MCIS tour i liked it how it was changed to 'God is empty JUST LIKE YOUUUUUUU' and then with the Adore era and also Machina with Melissa with Zero starting with the heavy bass line instead of the usual riff. Which do you guys prefer? michael

the intro does suit BWBW, more than Cherub and Geek ... i love that intro for Brixton. I prefer the MCIS version, the Adore era version is great ... but it distracts from the meaning of the song i think. i always wanted SP to play Muzzle then play BWBW straight after it ... so it would go like ... 'and i know the silence of the wooorrrlllddd ... is a vampire! ' *start playing bullet* ... arhhh its corny i know hmm Zero ... i like the Machina version ... its just so heavy. I have no preference though.

Do you think they may have at one stage? cmon its possible!
meh i dont like to shiela (the fast version) i think that could have done without the speedy revamp

nah i don't think they ever did that ... ... hmm the faster version of To Shelia, like BWBW lost its meaning. I do love the faster version of Stumbleine done during Adore ...

yeah i know what you mean , about losing its meaning
i think for example on the JJJ Turpentine kisses boot BWBW acoustic when he sings it like that i think it loses its meaning. I still like it , but like for example Cherub Rock acoustic on Vieuphoria it didnt lose its meaning it still had emotion where on turpentine kisses BWBW seemd lazy , like he was bored or something.

ok what about thru the eyes of ruby?
as much as i love the 96/97 versions of this song (especially glasto 97 and GM palace 97) i think overall that the adore tour version of ruby was better... i dont know why its very hard to explain ow much i love ruby and why i feel the adore version is better...

ruby is the epic that is often forgotten about as being an epic ... and i think during Adore they truly made Ruby into an epic song. Also i think Billy's voice and style of singing during Adore suited the mood and tone of Ruby.
... hmm - whats you fav version of Ruby from Adore foxy?

ummm 1998/08/04 Fox theater or Orpheum Theater 1998/07/31 they just seemed really solid performances for the tour. also the first adore version from hamburg is good too...

i love the fox theatre version of ruby too its madness, probably as solid and tight as you will ever see this song played.....but then you listen to the brixton version of ruby and all this flies out window....

Yeah, i have a live version of it, but alas i am not sure where it's from, and it never works as well live. The distortion is different and sounds kinda muffled and you are right, Billy does sound slightly muffled.
