Yeah I think this is really going to be the group of shows where we'll ge to hear some old classics for the first time, plus Im loving the idea of them playing songs that were written 'on the day'! It will be an exciting few weeks ahead!

I imagine that alot of the songs they play will be billy on the acoustic - this is the 'worst' situation (I personally love hearing Billy on the acoustic, all harkening back to the way he sand 'Today' and 'Stand Inside Your Love' at the VH1 Storytellers, AMAZING)

However, I was thinking that they may use it as an oppurtunity to get the 'band' to learn the older stuff and tighten up to beat cymbals and walls of power chords over the heads of city's to burn, city's to burn.

Exactly, I'm looking forward to the old classics, if you can call them old! Flowers will chase the sunshine! Well, hopefully, hehehe. These shows sold out so quick too, I knew a couple of people that live in North Carolina-they logged on after about an hour and couldn't get tix-evidently it's a really tiny venue though.

No reports from the show yet, I think its still on (I haven't worked out the time difference thing yet). Reading reports from other forums there are some people that have got information from people that having been lining up and one exciting bit of information is that they hear the band practicing Blue Skies Bring Tears!

EDIT:

Well the setlist seems to be correct, an Admin posted it on the Orange Peel website, so odds are its correct. How insane is it that Translucent (would never have guessed that, firs time ever played live I think?), Starla, With Every Light, Daydream, Blue Skies Bring Tears (Apprently the Arising! Tour version apparently) where all played!

We also got Come On, Lets Go! ... so maybe they'll play some other songs from Zeitgeist we haven't heard before.

For me this is what I had hoped for, 4-5 new songs thrown into the mix of the previous sets. If they can keep this up for the rest of the shows we'll end up getting 20-30 new songs. Which is awesome when you think how diverse this could make the rest of the tour

AWESOME! blue skies bring tears is my favorite song, i so hope they play by themselves over here so we get to see it.
i doubt theyd play it in a festival

Interesting thing is no big white kimono outfits. Still all wearing white, but yeah without the capes etc.

Also apparently the new song was acoustic and sounded very Djali Zwan-ish. I guess we'll hear it when the recording is released in the next few days.
