Just wanted to bump this, the band are playing tonight, will be very interesting to see if they continue with bringing out some older tracks like they did at the Secret Gig yesterday.

well they haven't really played that many non-singles:
hummer silverfuck muzzle (promo single) to sheila (promo single) shame annie dog home glass and the ghost children lucky 13 winterlong drown (promo single) daydream crush crying tree of mercury
if you take away the radio singles and solo songs from that list, it doesn't leave much that the band has played from the albums.
hummer silverfuck shame annie dog home glass and the ghost children lucky 13 crush
8 songs, 2 of them so far only once off's. to represent album tracks from 6 albums.

Well they are promoting a new album, so it makes sense to play alot of new ones, Do you think they are still ironing out some kinks? I wouldnt get 'disappointed' with the lack of non single tracks until after the residencey shows.
and trev theres 10 songs from albums they have played. Your second list doesnt include daydream and Crying Tree

yeah, exactly, 7 songs from zeitgeist, an unreleased b-side ( ) then we have 3 songs making their debut live appearance this tour: lucky 13, winterlong, and untitled. and thats just from last nights show.. But yeah foxy, for some reason trev didnt wanna include solo songs in that list.. i dont know why... its not like they arent part of the concert or anything..

Silverfuck seems to be moving further and further towards the front. How odd.

Electric version of Drown please! Hell yeah, Second that dude, seriously, by the time they come to Australia I want them to have mastered all of my favourites again, hehehe! We need Mayonaise, and Ruby, Snail and Slunk. On the whole though I'm actually quite happy with the setlist, I just don't get Silverf**k being so high up there... Why does he insist on Annie Dog? I loved Adore obviously, but AD was one of the songs I never really got into.

Annie Dog has always been one of my favourites, so I'm hoping it stays in the setlist.
I was thinking last night that Lily would be a nice addition.

Great! You better give us a bigger review when you catch your breath Good on ya! yeah no doubt i will! fuck 3 hours is a really really long show i tells ya... i do not know how they do it. the crowd went fucking nuts for SIYL and bullet in particular. silverfuck was met with slightly more muted response, suprising to me. cherub rock and muzzle as the first encore really got people going as well. drown was fucking great, although i think jeff missed a chord in there and billy gave him a rather unimpressed look! they sound incredible live. the loud/soft dynamics were amazing, the start of today was like a brick in the face, sooooooo good. uli john roth played with them on g+tgc and gossamer, the later of which went on for ages as billy kept saying "this is the end of the show..." before they'd kick back into it for another 5 mins! it was cool but by the end i was worried about missing the trains in a strange city when i had no idea where i was! i hadnt listened to the live recordings of the old songs so the new arrangements were a suprise to me, and that was a good choice i think. i bought a yellow tour tshirt and the hoody, both very cool, although the shirt is very very yellow! i see them next in venice and then london, hope they both live up to this gig....
