" Hello,
I just wanted to write a little blurb about what has been going on in my life and where I have been. Between this October and October of 2007 I met, fell in love, got engaged and then got married to the best person I have ever met! His name is Kristopher Pooley and I am so thrilled to be married to him. Needless to say, I have been super busy this past year. Between that and touring, I have also been busy dealing with a close family member who has been in and out of the hospital over the past few years. It's really hard to see a loved one become really ill and not be able to figure out how to get them better. It's been a very difficult year but it has also been the best year of my life. So, in case anyone was wondering why I haven't updated my page or spent a lot of time communicating online, those some of my reasons. I think they are pretty good! Well, now that things have settled down a bit personally, it's time to gear up for the next Pumpkins tour. I am excited about the upcoming tour. I can't say too much, but it's going to be a great show. We have started rehearsing and it's great to be back in the same room playing with everyone again. I can't believe it's already been 2 years since I started playing with the band. So much has happened since then. We've gotten to know a lot about each other and how to work together. Of course you have to experience life together in order to get to a place of understanding. Life and relationships often includes conflict of course, and it's really what you do with the conflict that leads to better understanding, better friendships and ultimately a better band. I am thankful for the friends that I have made in this band and for how much better we are now than when we first started playing together. It has been challenging for everyone, especially for fans, to see some new faces on stage. I'm not going to pretend that I don't know that. I was a fan of the original band, too! Things are different now though, for better or worse, depending on your preferences. Everyone has a right to their own opinion. But for me, things are better for a lot of reasons. I am thankful to play in the Pumpkins. I am thankful for music, life and love. So, in case you were wondering, this is where I have been.
Love,
Ginger Pooley"

Nice little blog, funny to hear her mention about being a fan of the "original" band ... that would be such a weird feeling wouldn't it?
