not at all what I was expecting.... Not at all. Don't really know what to make of it, or if I like it, have to wait and hear some recordings...
I wonder how different the 2 show format setlists will be.

Monster Mash! www.ohiorocks.com/As fans here, not at the show, what do you guys think about the setlist? Would you be pissed with this sort of show? ... this is just in regards to the people at SP.com bitching about this gig.

I'm not sure exactly what to think about it until I've heard it and put in context with the two show format setlists. Was this a once off kind of thing cause it was Halloween?
At first glance of this setlist, I was disappointed; but from what I can imagine, if the covers were good, then this would have been an incredibly fun show to attend.
What is curious is that we heard Billy talk about era specific shows etc and how this is the 20th anniversary tour, but there was only ONE early SP song on the setlist, in Siva. I'm still not sold on the new heavy songs (probably because I havent heard a version that does them justice) and so all things taken into account, I'm still not sure what to think... Theres no doubt that this show would have been special, as promised... I think it's just a different kind of special than what we were expecting... I reckon you put it well over on SP.com saying that it reminds you of starchildren...
to really answer the question, If I saw this show in Aus, I wouldn't be pissed off. I might have been a little taken aback, but would have enjoyed myself during the first set definitely.

Pretty sure its a one off setlist. If you were going to a halloween show you'd know they'd pull out something crazy ala the beatles getup from 97 or 98 whenever that was. IM just surprised the proper set didnt have more curb balls in it

hmmmm.... i didnt know it was advertised as an acoustic pumpkins halloween show. If this was some sort of fan contest gig I would have loved the show, knowing it was different and being with other cool fans, but if I didnt know it was meant to be a halloween acoustic gig, i might have come out a little annoyed. I guess it doesnt help that halloween is nothing like it is in america here.

This performance of Siva is incredible. I enjoyed listening to the covers too. It's funny that they're playing all these really popular yet unexpected (for them) songs and Billy still gets pissed off with the guy calling out for Free Bird. lol.

I would have enjoyed that show, and had a laugh. Except for the monster mash. I hate that song!
is that $15 au or $15 US?
if its AU that is a fantastic price.
