Anyone see Dida go down after copping what i would call a "touch" by a fan who ran onto the pitch?
Basically the bloke ran on, palmed dida on the cheek (trust me, it was just a touch!), Dida runs after him for 2 steps and then falls over clutching his face and gets stretchered off
Yeah it's a discrace on the fans behalf, but the way Dida decided to go down - What an idiot. Sums up everything wrong with the game right there.

That was sooo funny, don't you love how he tried to chase him, then when he realised he wasn't gonna catch him, collapsed in a heap, lol! I dunno about a "disgrace" on the fans part, probably just a scotsman that had a few too many, lol!
Liverpool continue their ultra average form with a draw to Spurs after a loss to Marseilles!!

yeah, sydney counter attacked so well, becksmania was pretty solid, he must be lovin the time he has on the ball he gets since the prem...
but seriously, channel ten's coverage was gay (not the commentators, i like that david bashir dude) but seriously Bill Woods and the ground level guy were fucking idiots, bloody sandra sully would have done a better job.

hahaha, you know what, if I don't like the commentators I just turn down the volume!
And what about that Harmse guy-talk about unbalanced! hehehe!
And the mighty Liverpool have got a roll on, I must say I'm very impressed!

Was Harmse the guy that stood on the young Sydney blokes arm? What a clown!
And Liverpool putting 4 past Bolton, very nice!

UP THE MIGHTY SPURS!
Some VERY nervous moments near the end... But it's been a long time coming and i think we deserved it... Big up's to Robbo returning and making some crucial saves at the end... And of course Woodgate's 1-2 with the keeper for his goal! Happy days. The start of the Ramos Era!

man i'm so seedy. Didnt go to bed til 5.30 and just had a lecture at uni it was pain...
Its bloody nice to see another spurs fan on here too. To be quite honest robbo still looks out of sorts, didn't have much to do to during regulation play and when he did he looked a bit shakey, (wasnt happy with his positioning for their goal) but gee he did very well in extra time.

Yeah i agree foxy, hopefully the win will give Robbo some confidence though... and hopefully Berb will stay What did you think of Chimbonda? He shouldn't play for us again imo. It made me so angry!

I think i've finally found the 7 disc box-set of Italys games from the last world cup! I'd given up on finding this thing last year after many failed attempts, but it looks as if a tip off could deliver the goods!
Anyone own this box-set?
Anyone know what i'm on about at all? ;]

Yeah i was filfthy about that too, another hossaim ghaly on our hands... Hutton is bloody awesome though, been very impressed with him, plus bale/gilberto so we kind of have out wide backs covered, its just that our centre backs are made of glass. milan my brother has the 4 disc socceroos one, but still harbouring some resentment at italian football to even look for said 7 disc set.

foxy, bad luck mate, pretty poor defensive error for spurs. did anyone see the rangers goals against werder?! ffs, both times our keeper fuckep up BIG time gifting them goals (first one was horible to watch it was that bad) after we made the game for the entire time.. but just couldnt score!

yeah dude it was not good, i got up to watch it and was tired and shitty at work the whole day.
How do you rate your chances for the second leg? I'm 50/50 about ours. The thing that seperates spurs from the top 4 is consistency, we have the players to beat any team but it just depends if they turn up or not!

i think spurs are out of the Uefa cup, if Ramos pulls out a victory in the second leg he is truly a world-class manager... Loved the cup results overnight! great to see the FA Cup not go to the big four If you guys don't have pay tv (i dont) check out www.goalcentre.com and/or www.goaltube.org for highlights of all the major leagues / games Also i'm sure you'd know the sbs website (www.theworldgame.com.au) has extended highlights of all premier league games Put $30 on Everton to beat Sunderland tonight, i think their class will shine through despite Sunderland being at home... Up the Spurs!

I know west ham are in poor form at the moment, but after watching the game against them last night it shows they have been working really hard at training and I reckon we can pull off a second leg victory. We looked a much better team, crosses were good (see bent's goal) and we all of a sudden remembered how to pass the ball on the carpet, except for robbo. I have great faith.

Sigh.. Not to worry... so close but yet so far! Of course it would be Chimbonda to miss the last penalty... I was going to start an anti-Pascal club but figure he'll be gone in the summer anyway.

yeah, look i was streaming it online and had to leave for class just after berbs hit that fucking great goal... Anyhow i liked chimbonda when he first came but really Hutton is miles better... What has lee done to ramos? that guy cannot get a run and when he does only gets a half...
But yeah when i found out about penalties i was shattered... anyhow next year should be good, if we hold onto berbatov and ramos gets some players he wants we might be able to be more conistent and challenge the top 4.

Are any other girls here into soccer?
I'm from Melbourne and I love soccer - moreso than AFL now (even though my team Geelong finally won).
I go to most Melbourne Victory games and all the Socceroo games that I can get to. It's a real thrill and I can't describe it!!
Just a reminder.... Australia V China is on this Wed at 5pm local time on Foxtel I believe.

cherry, i went to the Australia V Uraguay world cup qualifier, that is an atmosphere i cannot describe. I do love my football, expecially spurs.
