I think it'll be late in the year, but im pretty amped to say the least. Still need to get Middle Cyclone too, I was trying to get it for free, but shock arent being cooperative

There was a manson thread somewhere, but damned if i know where it went: MARILYN MANSON RELEASES “WE’RE FROM AMERICA” FROM THE HIGH END OF LOW AVAILABLE AS FREE DOWNLOAD AT MARILYN MANSON.COM MARCH 27 Marilyn Manson’s anticipated reunion with longtime friend and foil Twiggy Ramirez inches closer with the release of “We're From America,” the first listen from the forthcoming The High End of Low. Available as a free download March 27, exclusively on www.MarilynManson.com The song will be available as a digital single on April 9 and will preview Manson’s forthcoming seventh studio album landing May 22. The album’s official first single “Arma… geddon” will arrive at radio April 13. Manson’s new lineup including Ramirez (for the first time in close to a decade), plus keyboardist Chris Vrenna, and dummer Ginger Fish, will close the main stage at the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, this July through August. Manson will also kick off his world tour with a headline festival run this June in Europe. Produced by Manson, Vrenna and Twiggy, The High End of Low was recorded in his Hollywood Hills studio and also features the track, “I Want to Kill You Like They Do In The Movies.” Manson says of the new album, "I think my life definitely ended and began. The record sounds very final, but it's almost optimistic - though that feels like a strange word to use. It's a phoenix from the fire and a redemption resurrection." Since emerging from South Florida in the early 1990s, Marilyn Manson has continued to upend the mainstream with each new release. The tumultuous relationship Manson has cultivated with the public worldwide has resulted in multi-million records sales, sold-out tours, protests, legal battles, hate, adoration, award-winning distilled spirits (Mansinthe) and most importantly, a long list of some of the most enduring and genre-defying music in the rock era (“Lunchbox,” “Sweet Dreams,” “The Beautiful People,” “Tourniquet,” “The Dope Show,” “This Is The New Shit,” “Mobscene,” “Heart-Shaped Glasses,” etc.) The first one’s always free… Beginning with a small, slow dose on March 27 with “We Are From America,” the new era of Marilyn Manson and The High End of Low begins now. MARILYN MANSON Free Download - “We Are From America” – Available March 27 New Single - “Arma… geddon” – At Radio April 13 New Album - The High End of Low – Available May 22

theres a pretty hilarious kerrang interview doing the rounds too: "What sound were you going for in the studio? “It was just to not worry so much about trying to be professional, or trying to be anything. The guitar sounds like [Twiggy’s] dick when it’s hard. That’s why I describe the record as 'hard', not 'heavy'. Because if you’re going to have a music that is going to be called a ‘dick’ – would you want it to be heavy? That’s a burden. Or ‘hard’ Cos then you could do things with it. The record comes across – no pun intended – with the confidence of someone who is cocksure – no pun intended. It’s completely unafraid of anything." www.mansonusa.com/headlines/fullnews.php?id=606

The Specials to splendour? THE SPECIALS 30th ANNIVERSARY Tour coming to Australia The Frontier Touring Company is proud to announce, touring Australia for the very first time, the original lineup of The Specials. Terry Hall (vocals/co-writer), Lynval Golding (rhythm guitar/vocals), Neville Staple (toasting, percussion, backing vocals), Sir Horace Gentlemen (bass guitar), Roddy Radiation (lead guitar) and John Bradbury (drums) announced in 2008 that they would celebrate the 30th Anniversary of The Specials by going out on tour. The Specials are one of the UK’s most legendary and highly acclaimed bands of the late seventies. Back in 1977 a group of young men living in the city of Coventry in the UK formed a band that was like no other at the time. A band wearing mod/rude boy/skinhead-style two-tone tonic suits, along with other elements of late 1960s teen fashions. A band of mixed race, with a common love of music and in particular: Ska. With a few adjustments to personnel and a founding member establishing the infamous 2Tone recording label, the band recorded and released their single debut, a reworking of Prince Buster’s hit ‘Al Capone’. It was retitled ‘Gangsters’ and was a top ten hit in 1979. The Specials went on to have an internationally successful recording career with seven top ten singles in the UK charts including ‘Gangsters’, ‘A Message To You Rudy’ and finally ‘Ghost Town’ – released in 1981 and their final top ten single. Tickets for The Specials UK tour sold out in a day. Don’t miss out on this very special opportunity to see them live in Australia for the very first time. Tuesday July 28th The Enmore Theatre – Sydney Thursday July 30th The Palace Theatre – Melbourne Tickets on sale Thursday 16th @ 9am. www.ticketek.com.au or phone 132 849
