on the episode of the OC coming up this week, they play to sheila over the entire last scene. when i heard it i was like "OMG!" then i was like" they must be just playing something that sounds really similar" then billy started to sing and i was like "OMG!" again. wow...that would have been quite exciting.....an Adore song being used?!

i live in perth and am on holiday in England at the moment. I had never heard 'christmastime' before and was shopping here and my sister goes "Doesn't the guy singing sound like Billy Corgan?" she was right- i started giggling uncontrolably coz it was billy singing about christmas. it was a good early chrissie present.

The pumpkins were mentioned on "Gilmore Girls". They didn't play anything, but they talked about them for a bit

Bullet With Butterfly Wings on channel [v] yesterday. It's been said before, but how funny it is when you see these clips for the millionth time but get as excited as ever because it's on a tv show.

My god!
Was anyone listening to Mel on JJJ this morning??!
She had Matt Bellamy from Muse in the studio, and she got him to request the five tracks that have influenced him the most or something.
And guess what the last one was?!
SOMA!!!!! ;D;D;D;D;D
He said that Corgan was a guitarist he really looked up to and that Soma has "probably the best guitar solo I've ever heard." And he used to listen to it with his girlfriend when he was 16 cause she liked it too. And that the Pumpkins were one of the first bands he saw at a festival...
Sorry, I'm a bit excited ;D
I love Matt even more now that I know he's a big Pumpkins fan!
