if you're a virgin member or something, they have the last 40 tickets to each of the melbourne and sydney shows, gotta line up somewhere tomorrow or some crap.

i've been wanting to check out Razorlight for awhile so this will be a good opportunity. alot of people were bagging the shit out of them on Faster Louder, but that's not necessarily anything to go by...

Weird, I didnt even realise Madness or Human League still existed. As hilariously lame as it would be to see Dont you Want Me Baby or Welcome to the House of Fun played live, theres still nothing there that really gets me exited. Hopefully Jenny Lewis does sideshows.

ouch. harsh bec but it does seem like full of shit as there are no tour dates at the moment for incubus, they dont fit the bill at all, and doesnt seem like incubus are releasing an album soon or anything.

We are really sad that Jenny Lewis is coming to Adelaide as the support for fucking Snow Patrol. Would have really loved to see her, but there is no way we are getting tickets just for her support slot.

ouch. harsh bec ha i realized later in the night that i did sound a bit rude, sorry! i'll re-phrase - i think your friend's information is incorrect. Kerrie - i'll take a bunch of photos of her for you! i know the name but never heard any Rilo Kiley (is that who she's from?) stuff, or her solo stuff, so i'll have to try and check some out before the gig.

Lol Snow Patrol arent that bad Kez, they have 2 pretty decent records, its just the single mothers of australia association grabbed hold of them, Im hoping thats died a little now though.
Jenny is from Rilo Kiley, but she wont play any of that stuff I wouldnt have thought. I havent heard her new record, but the 0one with the Watson Twins is pretty great, Im still tossing up whether I want to pay that much to see her for probably only a bit over an hour.

Just found out that "Villains Of Wilhelm" won the garageband comp and will be touring the V festival mainstage. Lucky bastards. I highly recommend seeing these guys if you get the chance. They are good mates of mine and they put on a really rocking show. My band have played with them a few times and always a good show. Dirty Blues Punk kind of sound with that modern indie twang.

if they were on the main stage i would but they're not, sorry! i'm pissed off about the set times - last two acts on the main stage is Kaisers & Killers, last two on another stage is Snow Patrol & Madness. i'd rather watch two full sets from a good spot rather than four halves from a shitty spot, so i'll just be watching Kaisers & Killers. i think there's a reasonable chance that might be getting a photo pass for the Madness side show *hopes*

As far as I know, they will be the band opening the mainstage each day. That's what I've read, not 100% sure. Fasterlouder has all the details.
