Woohoo. Grant and I are off to LA in July/August (just like Bec and Joshy) for the No Doubt shows. So far it looks like we're spending a few days in San Fransisco and the rest in LA. It will only be a short trip.
And in November we're going to Hawaii. We've been planning this one for a while, really looking forward to it.

I'm supposed to be going to Europe in march next year to stay with my sister and go see somewhere that the family agrees on.. I'd love to see Spain and Portugal... Most of my family wants to do Germany, which would be awesome too...
My dream holiday is go to Seattle for a week or so, hire a car and cruise down the west coast of the states and stay in San Diego for a bit... Then cruise down South America, do the inca trail and go to brazil....

Woohoo. Grant and I are off to LA in July/August (just like Bec and Joshy) for the No Doubt shows. hey, this is probably a reall dumb question but do you like ND or is just Grant who likes them...? you probably told me when i met you but i've forgotten, sorry i got tix for four ND concerts today, the first one is on my bday, exciting! the first two i'm going to are near San Franciso so i think i'll fly over a few days early to check out the city. then i'll head down to LA (where hopefully two more concerts will be), then to ND home land Irvine/Anaheim. after the concerts i'm going to stay another 4 or 5 days to go to disneyland and check out all the ND landmarks. then i'll fly over to New York and spend maybe 5 days there. 5 months from now you'll be seeing a photo of me in front of this house i'm sure people think i'm weird for doing this but i don't care.... it's basically the #1 thing i've wanted to do for years, it's crazy that it's actually happening.

Bec - I'm not a ND fan. I liked Tragic Kingdom but not enough to make me want to see them live. Grant has a ticket to both Irvine shows. So far the plan looks like: fly to San Fransisco - spend a few days there, fly to San Diego spend at least a day there - drive to LA stopping at LEGOLAND - few days in LA/Irvine gigs and then fly home. Would love to stay longer, but money and annual leave will not permit.
I'll be in Adelaide as well. The flights there are dirt cheap and I'm sure the accommodation won't be much. It will be a busy month for sure.
And then once we get back we start super saving for Hawaii. I can't wait! Volcanoes!

Bec that is awesome you're heading to the house ... I'll make the pilgrimage to Chicago one day for all the Pumpkin historic spots. Very excited for all you travel bunnies this year, think our overseas trip might be next year. (and yeah we should be able to get to Radelaide, even for a 2 night stay, its fairly cheap I guess these days).

my tickets have been fully paid for this week!! i hope they fix the A380's soon, that's what i've booked to fly out on. those thigns are sweeeet. usb ports on all seats for ipods/mp3 players and also a power outlet on all seats for laptops too. hey so disney land have a 3 day pass you can get, and for each person you book for, they take $20 off the ticket. IF we could all do that at the same time, the tickets will be cheap!! this will include california adventure land too, which is part of disneyland DISNEY LAND!

Why don't have a thumbs down smiley? Anyway, I'm not keen to go to Disneyland. I'm way more into San Diego Zoo and LEGOLAND! Very excited about Legoland. Also, last night decided that while we're in San Diego we'll cross the border into Tijuana for an afternoon. I'm taking this baby to Mexico!

Wait A380s are broken? I'm flying to NZ on Emirates soon on one
Yeah I still thought my friends lived near San Diego when they lived near San fran , best way to think of them is like sydney and melbourne , roughly the same difference , little less took us 8 hours to drive from LA to San fran tho going on the coast rd not the freeway

no just the Qantas ones have been grounded. they couldn't fix the issues with a normal routine maintenance. so they've grounded one in London, and 2 in sydney i think to fix the issues. but by the time i fly out they will be fixed I'm not sure about the Emirates ones... might have to google it. They def should be by the time i fly (qantas ones) as i just read somewhere the other day that they're selling Syd>LA return for $896.... just after i paid for mine
