Changing subject.... Does anyone wanna tell me about June? Am I right in thinking this was a character of some sort billy created? Or am I imagining things? June was the main female character, Glass' lover, in the Glass and Ghost Children story. She basically the girl that Billy had written all his love focused songs about over the years, see the line in Muzzle: Have you ever heard the words I'm singing in these songs? It's for the girl I've loved all alongShe was meant to be Zero/Glass' perfect lover and partner. His reflection, meaning they are the same but in the same way total opposites. Its been a while since I've read everything about the whole GATMOG mystery, and somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but in the story doesn't June die? Isn't that what Tear is about. The moment when Zero loses June and he became Glass? I miss the whole GATMOG days.

Yeah that's right Simon, June dies in a car accident (after having an argument with Glass - where she remembers him telling her god's given him his mission over the radio - The I of the Mourning - while she was in a drugged out state). I spose Crash Car Star deals with that element of the story.
I hope GATMOG continues in some form again. (Chapter 4 please!)

I think we should dust off the GATMOG threads and put everything together we can, before we get old and forget it all.

I spose Crash Car Star deals with that element of the story. Umm, that's 'Cash Car Star'... and no, totally unrelated from what I remember... that was an Adore outtake which was later re-recorded in the Machina era (for Machina I think..). I'd love to find the winning essay for Machina but I've had no luck...

I think Cash Car Star was originally called Crash Car Star. (or was that just a bunch of us getting stuff wrong when Machina II was leaked?)

Yup. It was mislabelled Crash Car Star on the Friends of Modern Music Boot. And it was recorded in the adore era, in this recording session: www.spfc.org/band/studio.html?session_id=41Doesnt seem to have much relevence to June, though could be a part of the story of GATMOG story.

If you want to get technical, it's 'officially' called Cash Car Star now.

Oh okay, I've got one listed as "Crash" But just cause it was for Adore doesn't mean it can't relate to Machina, there are heaps of refrences pre-machina and on machina to stuff in the story. MCIS is litered with stuff, names, etc. If you look back far enough, (and look deep enough Im sure too), there are lots of references.

Yeah, but I don't think Corgan intended it to be that way, I think he found a way to link them to the Machina story, it all got a bit confusing for me towards the end!!

I think cash car star has more to do with the relationship between glass and the machines of god and the panopitcon rather than the whole june saga (i think thats what bree was saying way up yonder).
So yeah i think CCS a HERE WE ARE, call to arms kinda thing to the ghost children and a FUCK YOU to the panopticon.

I think he planned it all along, I think (if memory serves) he said that was the case on the old o-board Q&A he did, the 20 questions like thing (anybody remember that?). He said he had to wait till he had enough of a spotlight until he could develop it futher.

Yeah, but since when can you believe anything billy says. I'd like to think he had it all planned out, but in reality i dont think he did, i think he just had some things that became reoccuring themes in his writing and decided to flesh them out into a full concept. But its completely possible that he did plan it, he is a madman after all.

I hope the unscrupulous moron that decided to sell a digital copy of the Paris show rots in hell.
Why should he be able to make money from this? it's not his, he doesn't own a licence for it, and it's freely available on the internet! Making people pay for it?! WTF?
Someone should email eBay about this asking for money in exchange for bootlegged material... hmmm...
